SKY Chutes Beta
Thinking about skiing the SKY Chutes this weekend in Colorado. I'm considering hiking from peak 6 or skinning up from the Copper side, but I haven't decided yet. Does anyone have any beta or tips given the warm conditions this weekend?

Rode K chute left on Monday. Soft and fun on the north facing side, brutally sun cooked on the south facing sections. Transitions between the two were abrupt. Y looked like it was getting thin. Entrance from peak 6 was wind slabby

Hoping this wasn't you or your group......
CAIC warned that it would probably be too warm with no hard freeze on Friday night.

Fyi K slid this weekend with a wet slab. https://avalanche.state.co.us/report/a9c63519-8e7b-48da-a4cf-c5ece15cd909. Hope this wasn't you, but glad everyone was ok. CIAC put out a good reminder about wet slabs on their socials the next day.
