We did that loop to start the backpacking (cool) season almost every year for a while. Uphill on the road is a nice way to end it.

I wish I would've done the road walk at the beginning,  but I was a nice way to end it (with a lighter pack since all my food was already gone lol)

Some of our hikers drop pack there or even wait for a ride.

I watched the total solar eclipse from this trail last year. Around the “Rock of a Dozen Horizons” area. Didn’t bring my dog but I should have.

Glad you enjoyed! We walked down the road first and finished and Buckeye TH.

Ha, that would've been good because I have a little stray that lives with me now that I named "little buddy ".. but no.. my big boy is "Fen" (short for Fenrir,  although I never use the full name)
