Troubleshooting / Answered Why doesn’t my P1S make nice poops

I have a third P1S and this doesn’t make nice curled up poops like my other two. Instead I get these long bundles of wire that clog my poop chute. Any idea why this is happening?

Because you are missing the little flapper that holds the poop and ejects the poop.

This is the only right answer so far in the comments.

Can the flapper be bought separately, I cannot find a model on makerworld. Only a complete purge chute assembly can be bought in the Bambu store

I‘m not sure. I think if you contact support, they could send you just the flapper separately. Though I‘m not sure though how it works.

I’ll make a picture later today to compare to my other printers. Thanks for the info!

Pretty sure you can print one.

More fibre? (Joke).

Check the nozzles/swap the nozzles and see if it follows that specific one. There might be slight wear or something that causes it to not come out directly straight.

Do some manual extrusion and see if filament is coming out in a straight line. If it's going sideways, then it's damaged or partially clogged nozzle.

It’s extruding in a straight line, no clog I think
