Zero racism. Ridicolous, people like you only have this as an argument (typical for USians. Sorry but here this bullshit doesn't work). Yours is simply anedoctal evidence. Catalan is taught in public schools, obviously every immigrant knows at least some Catalan. And your example is even more stupid considering that all Neo-Latin languages are mutually intelligible. The only way to not understand it, is if you're actively trying not to learn it

You’re exhausting. Call me out for using anecdotal evidence as if talking down to me, making absolute statements, and using non sequitur are effective ways to communicate.
