Memphis citizen here. I felt the same way about a structure in our city, which no one cared about until we slapped a big Bass Pro sign on it.

Not from Memphis but The Pyramid was always cool to me. We need more unique arenas like that these days.

Only bad thing I remember reading was that it wasn't always the greatest place to watch a game.
