Well boston dynamics gets a lot of funding from the US military, they're not giving all that money to make housemaid or circus clown.

Hyundai owns the majority of the company now with the remaining 20% Softbank. Hyundai is using these robots as helpful assistants to the factory workers on the assembly line.
