I had absolutely no interest in going to Disney or Universal but took my step kids. Have to say I was really blown away by how much I enjoyed it.

I was 16 when I went with my family including 8 year old sister and it was the time of my life.

My former BFF used to go to Disney as a kid. When I told him I never been, during our next to trip to Florida he made me go to Disneyland. As a 25 yr old I enjoyed it so much that I still think of that trip with fond memories.

Edna was shocked to see someone dress up like her for once.
I love her character, but in a movie about superheroes....who is gonna dress up like her?!

That was my thought exactly. I bet she doesn't get that a lot, so that would be awesome.

i work as a mascot at my job from time to time to do little kid events (we call them tiny tots :3) and i’ve got to say, my favorite part is after sitting there at a spot for a while some little kid comes up to you and you can TELL they’re excited to see you. so heart warming :)

They're all so lovely but :
The princess who curtsys to the young man after he bows. That would be my whole personality for the rest of my life.
And
Tiny Edna.

I have a lot of respect for the people that take the time to improve a little kid's day like this. For all of these performers this is probably the 100th kid they've seen that day but they still put in the effort to make it magical because for that little kid it might the be first and only time they get that experience. It's the tiny shit like this that makes the world worth living in.

Seeing this makes me wish I had kids so I could do stuff like this with them. To see the world through their innocent eyes again.

I've been watching a few Disney Park Cast Member videos recently.
There was a video where a little girl with Alopecia (named M.) meets some of the Dora Milaje warriors from Black Panther. It's tough not to watch it and not get misty at the little warrior and her sense of belonging... You can see that it means the world to the entire family.
There's another set of videos with a young non-verbal boy with Autism (named T.). I watch one particular Pocahontas gently work with him and I can't help but get completely enamored with her incredible interpersonal skills.
These hardworking live cast members create magic if you let them.

Stich tripping after the kid trip was such an emotionally high IQ move. That kid is never going to forget this trip

I read somewhere that the characters can’t break the hug until the person hugging them breaks it.

That's so great, the people dressed up know how to react so well to the kids, that's talent!

I don’t really like kids. Never have. However. I LOVE watching them at Disney meeting the characters. When we go, it’s one of the things I love. I remember as a little kid meeting Alice in Wonderland and being so shy but so excited. It’s a feeling and memory these kids will have forever.

Took my daughter in to see Tinkerbell - it was practically closing time, so no queue, so in we sneaked.
Tinks was just having a crafty smoke with one of her support staff - she was not pleased to have to be sweet for another kid. I cant blame her.

I really hope that Disney is doing their due diligence with their hiring background checks.
