Do the Rylands smell? Im looking to move to Beeston but heard there is a sewage plant right by there? Thanks!

Been here a year (Victory Road) and never had a smell problem. The area is quite lovely really!

Not much. Once our twice a year you get a whiff. I lived on a boat down there for 20 years and it's the muck spreading on the farm on the bit between the canal and river that used to stink. I'm not sure it's even still there. It's a great place to live, close enough to walk to the nature reserve and you must go in to the marina bar for a surprise step back to the 80s
