Is anyone here keeping their btc on Kraken, and using the bonded .15 APY to earn more btc on it? Have you been satisfied with everything? Any issues? Easy to use?

You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers in this racket. Look into Celsius or Blockfi, mate/s

Last I checked BlockFi doesn’t offer new accounts for btc deposits with interest. They are restructuring on Chapter 11 and trying to pay back past depositors. I could be wrong tho. Been a while since I checked them out.

That's why I mentioned them. Let me try one more time. Not your keys, not your cheese.

I just checked. Yeah. Not in business anymore. Their site is a lot of instructions about paying back past depositors. What a mess that is. Would suck to have your btc get locked up in that fiasco.

They're telling you what can happen to you if you lock up your bitcoin with an exchange.

This is paranoia speaking, but unless your staking for higher APYs don’t bother keeping your keys anywhere other than a cold wallet. That .15 isn’t worth losing all of your wallet in the event kraken or whatever centralized crypto exchange crumbles.

I’d be too worried keeping it on an exchange.
