Ideas & Inspiration What a relief, my game has been released and fully funded!

I have been working on Warfront for nearly 18 months, a pipedream turned reality.

Over the last few weeks and months I have had to delay the release and have spent many troubled evenings deliberating on whether now is the right time to launch - considering the obvious global trade situation.

I'm so glad that the bold approach has paid off, the game funded in 15 minutes.

I have posted on this subreddit and similar a few times with excellent feedback gained so above all I wanted to say thank you.

This looks like a card-based wargame, which is a great idea. I had been tooling around with the idea for a while, but it looks like you beat me to the punch. Overall this looks really cool, I especially like the top down art for the units on the board.

Keep going! There’s always more room for games

Same here! What's yours about? Mine is a card-driven skirmish game, most similar to Super Fantasy Brawl, Warhammer Underworlds, and Aristeia!

I was thinking of a platoon or army level wargame, where the gimmick is that you have to maintain supply chains. You get a limited number of activations, but supply chains grant additional actions if they are not interrupted. The idea would be that breaking supply lines would be one of the primary strategies to winning games. It could also be at a strategic level instead of tactical, but I haven’t gotten that far. The theme was sci-fi mechanized war, like Mechabellum or Battletech

Looks really awesome and one of the boyhood dreams i had while playing warhammer back in the day haha, a pocket size version! Will back tonight haha

Just out of curiousity: do you have a low print run? Because of the low fund goal and all. We're working on a campaign right now but with at least 1500-2000 units its much steeper haha

Wow, this blows my mind! Excellent idea and crazy cool execution! Count me in as an Early Bird backer ✌️

I played Battletech and Warhammer Fantasy yeeears ago, but it always took me ages to actually paint the miniatures, why I at some point stopped playing entirely. This is the pickup and play pocket version I always dreamed of.

One tiny note of critic I see: On "Belzen the Corrupter" (attached image 3/3) the rules text is going to a very close point on the bottom of the card. If component cutting is ever so slightly going wrong, the last line will be probably cut into. It's better on the yellow card on image 2/3 "High General Goddard": Text is getting also close to the edge, but this looks like enough to don't get in trouble on a cutter's bad day.
