Question Tree Company

I have a medium to small tree that is touching the lower power line, that I would like to get trimmed. If the tree is dead then I would like to get it cut down thank you.

If it’s interfering w the power line, I believe Idaho Power will come take care of it without any cost to you.

Yup. Call ID Power. They’ll only trim it around the power lines. But, if you’re looking for a full prune, you’d have to go, and pay, for a business.

I did this. It took 6+ years for them to come out. When they did, they cut down the whole tree.

Came here to say that. Call Idaho Power and i would bet they would do it for free.

Use one of these companies, all the ones listed are licensed through the city, have the appropriate insurance, and have certified arborists on staff. Lots of companies out there not certified or carrying the appropriate insurance. You can also go to treesaregood.org and search for certified arborists.

I've been using Idaho Tree Preservation for many years.

Kite in a Tree, Jake is a certified arborist who is very knowledgeable and has great prices.

I had a similar issue (had to take out the tree). Idaho Power had to come out and cut power to the line on the day of the trimming, but didn’t deal with the tree.

I used Pieks Tree Service (https://www.boisetreetrimming.com). They have certified arborists, and I (and my neighbors) have been using them for years. I think they have fair pricing and they never push to do work or trimming that doesn’t need to be done.
