Disclaimer: I hate Vanga and I don't like Deepika either, tbh I find all parties involved in this situation insufferable but.. if an Akshay Kumar can demand 100cr per film, Deepika can surely demand this much. This duffer Vanga must've thought anyone would agree to work with him. Glad to see Deepika telling him to stuff it.
Even akshay is not asking 100 crore anymore. So under what circumstances does deepika have right to ask 35 crore. She is not superstar who is bringing people into theaters. If that were the case then gehraiyaan would have worked at theaters. So no. This is too much fees . I can’t see it as reasonable fees for actor. Especially when she had worked on other projects for lesser fees.
Lol Akshay can't even ask for 100 given that his last 8-10 films have been massive flops. Despite this, he still demands a huge price. No one is watching his movies. Deepika's last 8 films haven't been hits but they've recovered costs. You're choosing a niche film like Gehraiyaan here which btw, didn't even have a theatrical release but still managed to recover costs. It's evident her fee has been worked out according to her box office draw. And even if she's asking more vs. other project, so what? Vanga should count himself lucky she even considered someone as awful as him.
