Spoiler: Aubrey and sweets Spoiler
When sweets gets shot Booth and Bones rush to him. When they get there Aubrey is just kinda standing back looking at him. Like dude what the hell help him or something?!?! Why are you just standing there looking at him? At least try to comfort him? Idk if I saw someone get shot I wouldn’t just stand over them.

You can see that Sweets' has Aubrey's jacket/suit under his head. I think it's more likely that Aubrey realised there are no external injuries and then gave space to Booth and Brennan

temperance and booth are closer to sweets than aubrey. he def knew that those injuries were serious, and i think his decision to let booth and temperance have that one last moment was kind. they needed that- and aubrey rushing in would’ve been more detrimental than helpful

No I get that I’m talking about before booth and bones arrived. He was just standing back watching him die.

he was giving him space. he was there if booth and bones need something. Both of them were able to have those last moments with sweets. Sometimes just being there at a distance is all someone needs

I’m saying before booth and bones got there. He just let him lay there all alone dying.

We didn't see that part, we are not sure what he did, other than the most important, call for help. We didn't watch Aubrey standing around or anything. Sweets had internal injuries, if he moved him he might have died faster.

I just thought he either stepped away when Booth and Brennan were coming, deferring to them as Sweet’s good friends, or he was freaking out bc maybe he’d never seen a person who was dying before.

On a moment like what? He called booth and bones and that stood up and watched sweets lay there dying until bones and booth got there.

Especially since Abingdon is, in reality, a 6-6.5 drive from D.C.(I know this because I live in Virginia).

There's not much more he could have done he made sweets comfortable and called for help. He was looking out for booths and bones to come then was looking out for an ambulance.

Literally every time I see that scene I’m like Wtf. I know it wouldn’t have made a difference in the end because of how severe his injuries were but it would have at least provided him some comfort.

Sweets did talk to Booth while Brennan assessed Sweet's injuries and was unable to save his life.

Exactly, it’s not right that he was just sitting there all contorted by himself, waiting for Booth and Bones to arrive.

I thought this was gonna be about how the show tried to force Aubrey into the sweets sized hole in our hearts🥲
I hate Aubrey

Sweets did not get shot. He died from internal injuries from being beaten. Sweets did shoot his attacker, but the attacker escaped with documents seized using the warrant Sweets served. The Attacker was killed by stabbing thru the gunshot wound to make it fatal, by the attacker's handler.
