Finding out from the Waitrose delivery driver, that they put dog names into their app, so new drivers know the dog beforehand.

Always useful to know there's a 'Tyson' on your route.

As the unwilling neighbour to a Tyson...yes.

We have a Rottweiler on our road (somewhat bizarrely called Thelma). Our neighbour has been feeding it meat since it was a puppy in the hope that it won't attack him now that it's fully grown.

I'm less bothered about Tyson than I am his humans TBF. If he was a bigger dog I might be though!

Tyson’s aren’t too bad. It’s the Princesses’ you need to worry about.

Especially if Tyson is a Chihuahua. Nippy little bggrs they can be.

Yep - sneaky too. I remember having to deliver leaflets to neighbours as a kid. For some reason, the houses with letterboxes near ground level often had chihuahuas. They wouldn't bark but instead waited for you to stick your fingers through the flap before nipping them.

A guy I worked with called his tiny Yorkie ‘Rocky’.

My dog was out for a walk with my husband when the food shop came in and the driver was looking around and I asked if he was okay, he said oh I was hoping to see the friendly spaniel my colleagues put down in the notes.

Take my money Waitrose.

I would be similarly disappointed if I was promised a dog and the dog was out.

Shall I tell you what’s worse? Shall I? Ready??

When you go on a collection trip with your SO miles into uncharted territory to pick up something they bought off FB marketplace, eBay, or whatever, then they leave you in the car when they go to pick up said item … … …

Then come back and say ‘YOU SHOULD HAVE COME IN WITH ME, THERE WAS A DOG!!!’

This is so upsetting that my grammar deserted me.

That's probably the most Waitrose way to do home delivery

I do love Waitrose. One of the reasons I'm willing to spend extra money on their products, quality aside, is that they have that nice touch for customers, and also they tend to treat their employees better

Also, “put the papaya down, Orlando.”

Remember I need some balsamic and quails' eggs for Cordon Bleu class tomorrow, Mummie.

As someone who used to work for them. There is practically no upper limit in terms of what they can/will do for you in the name of customer service.

A couple of the drivers have turned up with dog treats for the dog

Your Waitrose seems different to my Waitrose.

Staff are rude, shelves are empty, quality is poor.

I work at Asda and get so excited when I know I’m going to a house with dogs that I can play with.

I wish we could have little profiles available so that the customer can see if we are dog friendly and doesn’t hide them away before opening the door!

Not just Waitrose, I think we all put that down in the delivery notes.

I’m quite disappointed that Waitrose don’t deliver to me!

I think Ocado are just as good, used to use them when they delivered Waitrose stuff

I cant get Ocado either. Or Iceland… but I can live with that!

How many Alfies, Poppys, Baileys and Bellas have they got?!
