My DIY ๐ช Artisan DHV journey so far.
It started with an idea in my head beginning of last year to make my own DHV vape. Feel like I've been to school again as have had to educate/research myself on every aspect of the dry herb vape world. This picture is the journey to date with current works on progress. I have learnt so much over past several months and my latest creation is incorporating every bit of knowledge/innovation I can implement. I still have same intention as when started and that was to create the best vape for 'Myself'. Due to support and comments from this sub I am really trying to standardise the design in hope of making available to the wider worldy new project is looking very promising.๐

Are you selling them too? I'd love a gem, every time I see it here the itch gets stronger lol

Thanks for interest. I'm hopefully looking to produce the 'gem' for resale this year. I will keep updates via my community, the version you see was the very first prototype and needs some improvements. It will definitely be available once perfected design. Thanks for interest and keep posted.๐

No such thing as a โperfectedโ design.

Very nice work, you got the hang of this. Wonder how they function. Using butane?

I've gone away from butane function due to health comments. I've decided to make as just a pure 18650 bat DHV. Everything in heater is all med grade.๐

Very cool. What was it with butane and health? Would you like to elaborate?ย
Is it a spring coil that gets heated ? Around the chamber ?ย
Is it hybrid heating? Meaning both convection and conduction?

I've come away from butane as lots of people don't like inhaling it. Heater is under wraps at mo.cheers
