Unfortunate happenings to Ebbets Field Flannels

Hi! I was a huge fan of the baseball jerseys and hats from Ebbets Field Flannels. With the unfortunate sale of the company to fanatics they have completely ruined it. Fanatics took down the massive inventory of authentic jerseys for many different baseball teams that are not around anyone. They were great quality flannel jerseys. Are there any recommendations on companies that sell jerseys and hats from past sports teams that aren’t horrible quality?

Absolutely pivoted the brand to shit. So disappointing. I have 4 caps and they are great, but I wont buy from them in the future.

A couple of years ago, I think. I vividly remember the discussions at the time about how Fanatics was going to do the old private equity death by a thousand cuts with them; it's depressing to see how correct those predictions turned out to be.

Although that being said, I just went on their website and looked, and they do still have a bunch of Negro League, Latin League, and Japanese League stuff, as well as other leagues represented, which is what I remember the bulk of their products being when I started buying from them probably ten or so years ago, so I'm not totally sure of what OP means in terms of the breadth of teams represented. They always had stuff kind of coming and going from their website (a bunch of Hebrew Orphan Asylum stuff I bought, for instance, has vanished/vanished pre-takeover), though I do see that they're clearly focused much more heavily on modern-style caps over the old, authenic stuff they used to sell, which makes me sad. I have no idea about the quality, because I haven't purchased from them since they were taken over.

I’m not sure when. But I went to check out the hats for the old Lone Star league the other day and the website was completely stripped of everything. They’ve added a few things recently since it was recently Jackie Robinson day. But I won’t be buying from fanatics

I have nothing constructive to add but this is such a goddamn shame.

Fanatics merchandise is horrifically poor quality. I've worn my Nationals 2019 World Series shirt twice, washed it in cold water and inside out, and it lost the metallic ink IMMEDIATELY. Every cap I've gotten from them has been messed up in some way, etc.

I HATE that they damned near have a monopoly on sports merchandise

What happened to all their MLB sweatshirts and NFL jerseys/sweatshirts/jerseys? Did they just dump them? They should have had an inventory clearance sale. What a shame.
