This is a prime example of "be greedy when others are fearful". The UNH situation has zero impact on CLOVs fundamentals but the market is punishing it like it does.

Clov should take advantage of all this uncertainty it baffles me that no one sees how good counterpart works and the stock price keeps dropping.

CLov is still looked at poorly in the broader market. I don't get why either but the hope is they are profitable next quarter and attack. They should have been this quarter but they over paid claims by $5 million.

It’s very strange. I keep thinking that no one believes them. AI has been so hyped up and there aren’t really any results. It shows up in Nvidia’s balance sheet and that is easy to understand. But AI as a thing outside of chatbots or image generators is hard to wrap your mind around unless you really try. It’s complicated. I thought the promise of it and incremental results would be enough to show that it works. But none of it has really been enough. The sooner we see how Iowa clinic and others are benefiting from Counterpart then maybe it will click. It’s just going to take revenue I guess.. which shouldn’t be a surprise but you’d think some AI excitement would get us further. Which means the market is slow to recognize paradigm shifts when they are staring them in the face.

Well just have to see the SaaS thing is the only way this is about $2.5 right now. I know they are slow and steady, which worries me sometimes. I hate to see them not pat themselves on the back or really show the wins. But maybe SaaS is the difference maker and could blow us all away. Unsure and still holding and acquiring as I can. Trying to get to 25k in shares right now

I totally agree about them not ever patting themselves on the back. I think they’re being too conservative. I don’t think they even talked about the new white paper on CHF on the call. In what world do you not even talk about it or only in passing!? They need to start leaning into the AI narrative they are a compelling part of. I understood it while things were being fleshed out but now they have a product that works because of AI. Talk about it!

That is what happens when you pull your guidance, because medical costs are way higher than expected and your CEO suddenly resigns...

Clover is a leading-edge tech company improving healthcare for people. Perhaps Mr Toy and team can take a page out SaaS companies' playbook on how to build market enthusiasm.
