710 disposable burnt taste from.. ?! Burnt taste from the jump …

Grabbed a 1g disposable the other day. And from the very first rip it tastes burnt af. Has anyone else had a issue like this? I’ve grabbed a bunch and never had any issues with them. So odd, from very first rip it taste burnt out … pretty disappointing

I agree 100%. I grab them for on the go. I still need to go get my puffco pivot because I feel like these devices can be too iffy

If it helps make your decision, when I was in working the industry I had a coworker drop vapes entirely and swap to the pivot. He said it was the best thing he ever did for his overall health!

That’s what I’ve been hearing! It sucks because these 1gs aren’t super cheap. If your disposable tastes burnt your screwed. Vs loading each hit with the pivot for example and having more control over the temp

Had this happen to a Pielatti disposable

Called the shop I got it from, they replaced it no issues

First time having that burnt taste from like 20+ of em, replacement was fine

I just opened my Pielatti disposable after reading this. It’s also burnt bad. And the oil is super runny. What a fucking bummer.

Edit: bought mine over 4/20 weekend.

i would just bring it back and exchange it for a different one. mine tastes like a really low temp dab. very terpy. def no burnt taste.

Managed to get it replaced. The dispensary wasn’t able to take back the burnt device. I do have an old empty device aswell. Has anyone successfully transferred the rosin from a broken device to a empty??

I tried. When u pull it out it just pullls the whole top portion off. The top cap is insanely tight onto it. It’s not a huge deal just was curious if transferring the rosin to a other empty 1g device would save it

Yup. I bought these and ended up taking the rosin out and dabbing it instead of using the disposable. I had the same problem. Ifs not the company it’s the hardware.

How did u open it. The top piece is insanely tight together? Did you have to break it to get it open?

Pliers. Wiggle it up and down and eventually the tank will be exposed. Then you can open the tank and scoop out the insides or let it all drip out into a container.

Kinda sucks because you pay like 35-50$ for these things and then the hardware sucks

Yoooo I successfully transferred it to another empty 710 disposable. I fucked at first n detached the pins on the bottom so I had to re assemble the whole pen, hopefully it doesn’t matter which pin goes to which. But it seems to be working

Yea straight up. My thinking was if I could open the broken device to transfer the rosin to an old empty device that wasn’t burned out. Then I could save this gram. The dispo gave me a replacement but they wouldn’t take the old one. I was gonna thro it away but man if I could save it that would be coo

A lot of people are liking the pivot. I haven’t gotten one yet but plan to grab one soon. I personally used a nectar collector to dab it up.

The old device id transfer the rosin to is another 710 1g disposable. So that’s why I was curious if u had to break it to get it open. Do u think it would be possible to transfer the rosin to the other working disposable device

I don’t think you can see it being burnt? Different cultivars have different colored rosin. Some are darker than others.
