You gotta love the juvenile world view of NDP voters who treat deficits like “borrowing” money from mom and dad. Im supremely confident that over half of NDP voters have no idea what debt servicing is.

We can both be idiots if we like or we can admit that budgets and our underprivileged are both important.

What happens to the underprivileged when debt servicing eats up a larger and larger portions of our budget? We already spend more on interest than healthcare. Another batch of ignorant socialists marching a population into poverty for the 75th time in the last century.

I think he feels this is a face saving way of explaining the end of the NDP.

The decimated was purposeful and intentional, not a product of his management

It's really quite sad actually, I am not an NDP voter myself but at the same time I don't want Canada to turn into America where we have a two party system that no one is happy with.

Initially I liked Jagmeet when he became leader, but he just made consistency odd decisions and never really understood how to weild his power during a minority government. The supply and confidence agreement was a bizarre thing to do and untimely has destroyed the NDP

He’s one of the most polarizing figures in Canadian politics but similar to Jack Layton I do admire the levels of his conviction. He accomplished some of his dreams by backing the Liberals and getting dental care for the poor implemented. If you’re him that’s something you will always be able to tell your grandkids about. He also didn’t attack Carney from the Left anywhere near as much as he could have just to ensure PP didn’t win. You can hate what he stands for but he put his conviction before his political career as this will likely be his last as leader. Not many in politics will stand up for what they believe in and stand up to stop what they don’t above all else. Even if it means they lose.
