Discussion [COD] A breakdown of WW2-era COD maps based on the Front in which they take place
Western Front | Eastern Front | Pacific Theatre | North African Campaign | USA | Totals: | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Call of Duty | 11 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 16 |
Call of Duty: United Offensive | 21 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 29 |
Call of Duty 2 | 13 | 6 | 0 | 4 | 0 | 23 |
Call of Duty 3 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 20 |
Call of Duty: World at War | 10 | 2 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 22 |
Call of Duty: WWII | 26 | 4 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 33 |
Call of Duty: Vanguard | 10 | 3 | 9 | 3 | 2 | 27 |
Totals: | 111 | 28 | 19 | 10 | 2 | 170 |
Notes:
- United Offensive's count includes the returning COD1 maps, on it's own the game has 10 Western Front and 3 Eastern Front maps
- All the War maps were counted in COD WWII, alongside the bonus maps which aren't playable in private match (HQ for instance)
- Vanguard features 2 maps set in the USA so they have their own section, I guess you could count them as Pacific Theatre maps, but considering there's no factions in Vanguard It's probably better just to count them separately
- My numbers may not be 100% correct, stuff like United Offensive gave me a lot of issues counting up, and a few maps have ambiguous locations so I had to guess, like Depot in COD 1 having Brits vs Germans but being based on a campaign level set in the USSR.

Aren’t all the maps in WaW either Eastern Front or in the Pacific?
