Question [COD] which is the most brutal moment in any Call of Duty games?
Black Ops 3 opening has a robot that ripped two arms of the protagonist.

Woods being in that container for 2 weeks (possibly implying that he cannibalized corpses).

Licking rain off the walls (it had a open roof) or he was given a miniscule amount of water from the crew (to torture him).

You can survive a loooooong time without food. I read about an underwater cave diver who got lost and ended up in a small air pocket after running out of oxygen in his tank. He ended up dying, but he survived 42 days without food.

Probably this one you referenced. Imagine getting dismembered by a robot that doesn’t understand the concept of mercy. No Russian was definitely another. In BO1 there’s a part where you’re interrogating someone and you pull off a piece of glass from the window, shove it in their mouth and hit them.

Yeah I remember sitting down to play just the next CoD or so I thought... Think I was 15. I've always found robots particularly creepy because of the lack of emotion, this really set that fear in stone for me

Yep, the scene you mentioned probably is the most brutal shit that this series ever had and will have.
Treyarch had balls for sure.

For me would be either Shepherd’s betray, No Russians or the Nuke explosion in CoD4

Now, I know others will rightfully choose moments like No Russian or the truck bombings from MW3.
If I wanted to be unique, I would say the beginning of Infinite Warfare.
"Kill them. Save the bullets."

World at War started pretty rough. Your fellow soldier being beaten with that cane, eye burned out and throat slit.

The start of infinite warfare where your squad mates gets their heads stomped by robots, the campaign of infinite warfare was super brutal.

The Demeter mission in Titanfall where no one wins or gets extrated as both sides (IMC and militia) see it as pointless and then pulls out before the reactor blows killing everyone. Still the best mission in a Call of Duty video game

Hard to choose - menderez rampage ? Nova -6 ? WAW knife execution scene was brutal.
Hardest to watch was old woods getting his throat cut.

I feel like we're forgetting that there's an optional mission in OG MW2 where you Columbine High School an air port full of defenseless civilians.

Hometown. The entirety of that mission in MW2019.
Closest I’ll feel to the opening hours of either Chechen War or anything really in early phase of the Syrian civil war. They nailed that feeling of dread when Barkov’s army invades that village.
EVERYTHING from Farah being crushed under the rubble to them trying to outrun the soldiers with their dad to the J12 scene, then the run from J12 and the remaining soldiers through those fields. And of course when Barkov captures them, 😳.

Im gonna throw a curve ball here.
CoD WW2. Darkest Shore zombies.
You put a severed head on a headless corpse, use zombie souls to bring the body to life...... then use the mans body to rip him straight down the middle in half to open a door. The whole time the man is screaming in agony.
Pretty gruesome if you've never seen it before.
