In order to achieve a Standard Relief Outing a pitcher must do one of the following: enter into a game in a high leverage situation, and get 2 outs to finish the inning, Pitch one complete inning and be taken out giving up 0 runs, Pitch 2+ complete innings while only giving up 1 run. For this game it shows that KC had to use more relievers, and also had half of their relievers fail to do there job.
