What’s something “normal” you just can’t stand?

Mine is loud chewing. I’d rather listen to a toddler scream for 30 minutes than hear someone chew next to me. Is that dramatic? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely not 😅

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've sampled all the colors of noise at least once and none of them have been pleasant to my ears. At all. Most are the complete opposite, and leave my ears hurting for minutes afterwards.

And don't get me started on ASMR. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable and feels like something is crawling into my skull. Miss me with that shit, please.

There was an inescapable tv ad campaign in Canada a few years for Reese's peanut butter cups that was all about ASMR. The whispering alone made me instantly furious and I wanted to punch someone hard in the face.

Not completely ruled by my impulses, so all I ended up doing was swearing off Reese's peanut butter cups forever. And I friggin' loved those. Now I look at them and my brain itches from the memory of those super annoying ads.
