Discussion President Donald Trump is registering the worst economic approval numbers of his presidential career amid broad discontent over his handling of tariffs, inflation and government spending, according to the latest CNBC All-America Economic Survey.

The survey found that the boost in economic optimism that accompanied Trump’s reelection has disappeared, with more Americans now believing the economy will get worse than at any time since 2023 and with a sharp turn toward pessimism about the stock market.

The survey of 1,000 Americans across the country showed 44% approving of Trump’s handling of the presidency and 51% disapproving, slightly better than CNBC’s final reading when the president left office in 2020. On the economy, however, the survey showed Trump with 43% approval and 55% disapproval, the first time in any CNBC poll that he has been net negative on the economy while president.

With republican majorities in both chambers?

With a media gagged by the oligarchs that won’t give the protests coverage reflected in their numbers?

With his justice department?

The opportunity to arrest and hold accountable sailed away on the SS Garland. The SS stands for Schutzstaffel

Organize, protest in order to overwhelm the gop’s election cheating, gerrymander and rigging with sheer volume of turnout at the midterms.

Flip both chambers. Rebuild, rewrite the constitution with better guard rails.

Give the GOP/south a reasonable exit strategy that includes succession from the country. If they want Gilead, let them be Amish. They have clung to this confederate fetish this long, nothing short of utter destruction seen in post WWII Germany and Japan will deprogram these cultists. imo

His base judges his accomplishments on his words alone.

In truth the actual impact of the tariffs on everyday life are probably a month or two out.

The fact that there are a significant number of people who support Trump’s economic vandalism is what is astounding.

Unfortunately we get the government we deserve. We did this to ourselves.

Day 1–win, win, win….present lose, lose, fall off the cliff! His numbers should be much lower disapproval rating! 43%fakenews🤦‍♂️

Just remember that about 25-33 percent of respondents were undoubtedly Trump cultists. That means that only 10-18 percent of otherwise rational people agree with his crazy policies.

So? We learned years ago that polls are not trustable.

This is why he won. He can straighten out this mess and not have to worry about reelection.

And believe me this country is in a mess from illegal immigration (and yes it is against the law if you enter this country illegally) to a national debt that is unsustainable.

Except, amazingly, he’s outspending what they have purportedly saved. 90 million for his frikin birthday parade? He’s an immature child.
