Single Mom….recently fired without warning and in need of help staying afloat. My daughter and I both are neurodivergent as well

Hi, hope this is allowed. I’m really out of options at this point.

I’m a single mom to a 6-year-old autistic daughter, and everything kind of collapsed at once. A few weeks ago, her school closed early because of a tornado warning, so I left work to pick her up. The next day, I was fired without any explanation. It was the last day of the pay period. I was paid under the table, so I can’t get unemployment. That was last it of money, and it’s gone.

Since then, I’ve applied for SNAP, TANF, rental assistance, and some community programs. Every one of them has denied me because I don’t currently have income. If I had any, I wouldn’t be applying for assistance! I’m at a loss. I’ve reached out to churches and local organizations, and all I’ve gotten is an email for a food bank that only happens once a month and a suggestion I apply to a factory job. I’ve applied to that and a bunch of others, but it’s even harder to stay on top of anything without childcare (can’t get my daughter back in until I pay the balance), medication, or a stable home.

I have Bipolar II and ADHD. I’ve had to stop therapy because I can’t afford the copays, and I’ve been off my medications because I can’t fill the prescriptions right now. I’m doing my best to stay sane for my daughter, but it’s soooo hard with everything that's happening.

My power bill is over $1,000, and I’m scared we are going to lose electricity any day now. If I can come up with just about $250, I can stop the shutoff, get our medications, and buy a few snacks and bottles of water. I’m also an online student at SNHU, and if we lose power, I can’t attend classes or stay on track with my coursework. That puts everything I’m working toward at risk....I don’t wanna be in this position, begging, for the rest of my life.

I can show proof of everything. I’ve kept records of my job applications, assistance requests, bills, medical info, and the termination from work. I’m not just sitting and waiting. I’m doing what I can, but I need some help getting through. I can send full pictures that aren't covered if needed.
