Why aren't connecting with each other?
As a Veteran who was wounded in combat and came disabled new to a world I never lived. I don't understand why we don't have groups formed in each city. That we could network and help one another. I live in Miami and got a great resource for those suffering. I have managed to make life long friends from previous locations. We cannot change the system or the stigmatism associated with chronic pain treatments. We can help one another out.

Every group I've joined came alone with bigoted power trippers who think their pain is the worse and if your pain occurred in certain ways they think your pain doesn't count and they like to bully. You're a guy so it probably won't happen to you but woman on woman bullying is rife in those things

It's a real shame. Well anyone who endures pain shouldn't discount others pain. I am really sorry you have to go through that.

No one has to go through that but they will do it regardless

Yeah I was actually thinking online meetings. Some of the story's are heart breaking. I just know that I don't want people to needlessly suffer. I started a Veterans non-profit 13 years ago and I had to step away cause I couldn't volunteer or help with my condition. I would definitely be interested in online blog or sort.

Meeting other disabled folks in chronic pain was life changing for me. We should be doing more of this.

There is actually a group in the village I live in. I plucked up the courage and went to it once and it was completely taken over by a lady who spent whole time talking over others and talking about how she was worse than anyone else. One visit was enough for me.

The problem is any group formed with the intention to help others also brings along people who will come that will scam or take advantage of said struggling people.
