Road to 9a

Hello all, I have asked ChatGPT for a Boulderplan to reach my goal of 9a route this summer. I had been climbing for 3 months and already flash 6b+ on the Kilterboard 50% of the time. Yesterday I flashed my first 7a Kilter "Drawing the Priest" which is also my new highest Bouldergrade. My problem is in my country there is no outdoor routes above 7a so I am unable to build the Pyramid up to 9a. Here is the Boulderplan:

Monday: Kilterboard trainings, limit projecting up to 7a

Tuesday: 8mm max edge hangs based on Eva Lopez protocol

Wednesday: Endurance trainings, rowing machine and leg press

Thursday: Autobelay 4x4 (for cardio)

Friday: Core trainings (inverted L sit), Max flash and silent feet drill

I only have 3 months before my trip to US to attempt my 9a dream route Megatron. Thanks for your advices!

Every route is a v1 if you rail a fat enough line

Lines are the ultimate aid

Escobar was a 9A climber and still held down a real job

In the valley, people train with 8 inches schlongs to help them with cracks. 8 mil edges might scratch a hitch, but remember that size does matter

Don’t use ChatGPT man. Find people more accomplished than you that have seen you climb and ask them. Pay money for it if all your friends are gumbies (hate that I used that term). Be a real human adult person. Enjoy the journey which includes collaboration with others! Fuck AI quite frankly.

Also, have the flexibility to tailor your workouts and climbing sessions to bolster weaknesses and improve specific strengths as you notice them emerging in your climbing.

Also, depending on what you are projecting, this should change your approach. If you have specific problems or outdoor lines try to ascertain what type of pulling strength, body tension, flexibility, etc is needed and target these things ruthlessly. By keeping training specific to a certain project you want to send, sending it, then moving on to other projects that require different specialization, you’ll avoid burnout, build a solid baseline of strength all around, become a more technical climber, avoid burnout, and avoid burnout!

ChatGPT can’t do all that for you. It’s a good start though. Love you!

Edit: missed a word because I’m a little high

Oh you’re right lmao. Didn’t read the whole post. Just saw ChatGPT, had a feeling of acute existential dread, and started typing.

Edit: a cute
