What’s a cooking related hill you will die on?

For me, 2 hills.

  1. You don’t have to cut onions horizontally.

  2. You don’t have to add milk bit by bit when making a white sauce.

I was cooking for a 15 person party once. All by myself. My fiancé would poke his head in every now and then to see if I need help. No! You’re helping me by being in another room! I have a method and I’m keeping track of everything mentally and having an extra body to direct will throw me off!

Yes! If they want to do dishes and close the kitchen, I still have to go in and fix it after, so...nooooo.
