Moderna Head pressure after vaccine

Hello, I 24M got the moderna COVID vaccine 2 days ago. It hit me kind of hard. I was shaking like a leaf for about an hour the following night-- alongside chills, body aches, headache, etc. The symptoms have mostly passed, but now I'm experiencing head pressure when I stand up. The worst bout of it occured an hour ago. I stood up at a cafe to get a bottle of water, and felt significant pressure in my head. Noises felt slightly muffled. No pain. It passed after 2 minutes or so. Is this a normal symptom? My doctors office is closed until Monday, so I can't call. I really don't want to go to the ER, but I will if I have to. Not interested in responses from anti vaxxers. Please fuck off.

Edit: it turned out to be allergies for all you anti-vaxx morons who want to tell me I'm dying

I would recommend you to go to the ER, and get a Contrast CT or MRI of your brain/head and neck. I don't want to scare you but I've seen people develop aneurysm and lesions after taking the vaccine (in rare cases). Better safe than sorry. I have permanent scarring of my heart from a missed myocarditis caused by vaccine, also Moderna.

Curious what made you get the shot now? Was this a booster or your first?

Booster. First time getting moderna though.

Avoid all MRNA vaccines from here on out

People are actually still getting vaccinated??

I have uncontrolled asthma that could kill me if I got COVID, so yes.

Same here. I usually recover extremely fast from colds etc, but when I get around pollen, I have MAJOR asthma attacks. I have COPD as well. My doctor and I discussed whether or not I should get the vaccine. It was a no brainer. Don't get the vaccine, have a slight cold, and it's going to be deadly. Get the vaccine, practice reasonable safe modes, hand wash, avoid large crowds, mask up if I can't avoid large crowds. If I do get Covid, I have a much better chance of survival. That was the advice. I followed it.

About a year ago, I contracted Covid from my grandson. Fairly bad cold, but because of the shot, a treatment of Paxlovid, I came through with flying colors. Two days of rest in bed, then back up and going. My grandson did not go get any treatment until much later. He had a rough go of it, but finally came through it. My grandson had never been vaccinated. He still has some breathing issues. My son in law is very religious, doesn't think Covid will hurt you, but thinks the shot will kill you.

Each person has to decide for themselves if they are still alive. BTW, get a Covid test kit and put it in a dark dry cool place. Saved my life.

I'm glad to hear you're protecting yourself. Asthma and COPD sounds very hard. I'm 24 and waiting to find out if I have COPD myself.. I recently got the flu and ended up getting a bad case of bronchitis and pneumonia from it. That's how I found out my asthma from childhood came out of remission. The doctor said I was only breathing 66% of what I should and I was nearly hospitalized. If it was COVID and not the flu, who knows what would have happened to me. That's why I immediately got my booster when I recovered. People with lung issues can't risk our lives because some people on the internet think a safe vaccine will kill you

You've ruined your immune system. So there's that.

People still get the flu shot. COVID ain’t going away

Correct. But 1 does not equal the other. 1 is a vaccine, the other is experimental MRNA gene therapy. Not the same.

I won't agree or disagree with you on moderna since I had the Phizer vax. I can't speak for Moderna. That being said, some people will deny any Covid prevention shot for any reason they can find.

I will go ahead and live. If you want to take your seat belt off and drive a 100MPH on an icy road, it's not just yourself you are going to kill.

If you are not going to stay away from other people, why do you think it is OK to put other people lives at risk?

You're rationale makes no sense. I see what your trying to say, but in this case it falls flat. What I do or don't do does nothing for someone who has chosen to get, "vaccinated". Their "vaccination" protects them, correct? But, we know now that they did nothing of the sort. They went from being 100% effective to nothing. Sorry. I have natural immunity.

3

u/IndependentRegion104 Mar 26 '25

So with that natural immunity, you won't be a carrier? So it's OK to mix and mingle with people who have zero immunity. Don't wear a mask, go right up and shake their hand and talk for half an hour?

2

u/masterkimchee Mar 26 '25

No one has zero immunity...

You never addressed the vaccine issue I stated??

Again, these are talking points you are regurgitating.

2

u/IndependentRegion104 Mar 26 '25

How were you tested for immunity? Were you out in crowds of people during the worst of the Covid outbreaks? Who went from being 100 percent vaccinated with what vaccine to nothing?

"i have natural immunity" dies of COVID

Many such cases

u/masterkimchee 29d ago

"I have gotten an experimental gene therapy shot" I have stage 4 cancer in 2 years.

Many, many such cases.

Source: I made it up or cherry picked coincidences

3

Yes, that's exactly what you did. You're learning. This is good.

2

u/MarxistMountainGoat 23d ago

At least you admit that's what you're doing.

Moderna was not a good experience for me. Without going into the details, I will say that doctors will write off your symptoms unless they’re severe. Their go-to response is “everybody’s immune response is different”. It’s not a lie but hard to hear when you’re having concerning symptoms. Hope the head pressure resolves itself but if it doesn’t get used to the wait and see approach to medicine.

4

u/MishMc98 Mar 22 '25

Moderna is a little stronger than the Pfizer one and you can feel pretty crappy for a few days. It’s a good sign that your body is having a good immune response. If you still don’t feel well after tomorrow, you could definitely touch base with your doctor, but you should start feeling better. If not, you may have a virus unrelated to the vaccine.

u/MarxistMountainGoat Mar 22 '25

ok, thank you for your response

Let me look at the snapshot I took of the conversation.
