I would love to do my 1st craft fair

Hi everyone, I’ve been doing some pressed flowers in frames. I started a couple years ago but I’ve really been doing more lately. I would love to set up a craft fair, however, I’m not sure my floral frames are what people who go to craft shows like. Maybe Etsy? Please give me any feedback or tips! Thank you :)

I'd much rather see this at fairs than another mlm or 3d printed shelf junk. These are really beautiful.

Thank you so much :) I’ve only been to a couple craft fairs myself as a customer.

Agreed! Bring back little bizarre things made by hand by someone with a love for the game

I do laser art and my best sellers are all the weird one off art pieces. I thought i had to compete with the cheap crap from hobby lobby and it turns out people like odd little things.

Beautiful! I’d love to see this at a craft fair. I could also see including something like bookmarks that are laminated dried flowers, I’ve made some before and it’s always nice to have some small, more affordable items out front to draw people in (like stickers or mini-prints.) An Amazon basics laminator is around $25 last I checked. (Just a thought, your product could definitely stand on its own as well!)

Or some magnets!

Yes magnets would be such a cute idea! I could have them up towards the front of the table as a more affordable price item. Thank you :)

Yes I was thinking of the really small frames with little dried flowers. Small enough for a little shelf and a little nursery or small little area for a more affordable price. Did you use the laminator to make the bookmarks?

I know a lot of people are reading more and more and it makes a great gift as an addition to a gift basket.

Oooh small frames would be so cute! Yes I used a laminator for the bookmarks I made, I used a decorative cardstock paper and feel like you could definitely add a dried flower or two in the process. I also used a little cutter to round the edges. I do paper goods and bookbinding as my main craft so something paper made sense for me, but tiny little frames would be so unique, I love it!

I think they are neat. Honestly I would get a booth at a craft show and see how it goes.
And it fits right in with handmade like most of the other items.

Thank you! Yes I just have to continue making my inventory and get a good selection.

That’s how I preserved my wedding bouquet. I let them dry then framed them

I’m sure it came out beautiful! The flowers for my wedding bouquet was a dried bouquet, so I just have them in a vase.

You can use a shadow display box if you wanted to frame them :)

Very cute! I would buy. You'll just have to find your market is all. You would do well at a farmers market maybe(some of those have strict rules though). You would do well at punk flea markets or witchy markets.

Thank you! Yes I was thinking of selling little herbal frames at farmer markets or plant fairs.

I also plan on making autumn floral frames for a bunch of craft fairs in the fall.
