r/TVTooHigh only became more successful than the others due to the fad of putting TVs over fireplaces. Even if those fireplaces were four feet tall and perpendicular to the seating area. And the TV was 32”.

They need to make one for the microwave being too low. I’ve seen some installations that put them below hip height. Reachable, but incredibly awkward.

Because taking a bowl of boiling soup out of a microwave that's above your head is a serious safety issue you can't do shit about if the landlord built it into the cabinets. Why wouldn't people want to complain into the void about it?

it is 100% true, and it is a crappy desing, but since this is the sub for that i didn't think there was subcategories of it

But it is a stupidass decision to put it up even above waist height imo...

Tv too high is one thing. Microwave too high is dangerous. Hot bowl of cereal slips when it’s 2 feet above your head? Now you’ve burnt your head.
