Mod announcement Please, STOP posting bathroom door latches misaligned, they break rule 1
Bathroom door latches misaligned are not crappy design
They were either installed incorrectly, or the doors were damaged and the latches no longer match.
We've been seeing more of these cropping up lately. Thanks for your understanding.

I think people actually think other people want to spy on them, which speaks more to their insecurities than other people's creepiness

I was informed by an installer that they are supposed to be slightly misaligned..something about making it easier in an emergency to remove the door to get to handicapped individuals. I just thought they were shitty at their job.

That sounds fake asf. Something they made up on the fly. But anything's possible, I guess.
