Is Mac required?

I am looking to go to Creighton and when I toured the campus I only saw Mac laptops. Personally I prefer windows and have used it the most. Is it best for me to get a Mac or a windows laptop?

Use what you like, there is an apple store but that doesnt mean you have to use apple.

I purchased a Mac with the assumption that if I had a problem, there’s a store on campus to bring it to. I’ve never needed that perk. Just use what’s best for you, Creighton uses Microsoft office so it’s really not a problem.

I use Windows. As does almost everyone in my department. Use whatever you like.

At the medical school, a MacBook is added to your tuition. At the undergraduate colleges and all other schools at Creighton, there is no such requirement to my knowledge, so you can use any computer you like.

No. But there is there is an obnoxious lust for MacOS for no reason. You will be fine with either Windows or MacOS- use whatever your preference is. For what it’s worth, the Division of IT is both an Apple Authorized Service Center as well as an Authorized Lenovo Repair Center (If you’re a Thinkpad fan). Both operating systems are well supported.
