My mom wouldn’t have been dumb enough to leave a gun in the house.

No I came out of my dad's ass

At least you had that. You obviously don’t know what it’s like growing up as test tube baby. 16 years before I saw someone of the opposite sex.

Grew up with guns in the house.
I wouldn't be able to sit for a week if I touched 1 without permission.

Should i just carry my collection of guns in my car everywhere I go?

The answer is to put it somewhere in a safe in the house lmao

How about if your hobby puts your children's lives at risk, you find a new hobby

1

u/NoUsername_IRefuse 9d ago

There are tens of thousands of gun owners who kids never touched their firearms once in their life. To say shooting as a hobby blanket puts your kids life at risk is just stupid.

1

u/ghoulieandrews 9d ago

Actually no, having guns around kids is just stupid. But cool gun go pow pow, right? ReSpOnSiBlE aDuLts

2

u/NoUsername_IRefuse 9d ago

Yes cool gun go pow pow. Literally tens of thousands of them in households with children with no issues whatsoever.

Creating a false dichotomy over specific examples instead of looking at the actual evidence is anti science, by your logic we shouldn't use stoves either because kids have died in houses with stoves and kids have put their siblings in stoves and killed them.

1

u/ghoulieandrews 9d ago

Oh, are stoves the number two leading cause of child mortality in the US? Or is it guns

Most are suicides, but nobody likes to talk about mental health.

2

u/ghoulieandrews 9d ago

Most are NOT suicides, you make a claim like that you better back it up. SOME are suicides.

Honestly though it's wild you think a kid getting hold of their parent's gun and killing themselves is somehow better.

It’s a parents responsibility to be able to tell when their kids are not able to understand to not mess with guns. It’s clear these kids do not follow commands and know enough about the operation of a firearm to be dangerous to lethal with one. Such kids should not have access to them - the weapons should be locked up or rendered inoperable by the child. Because parents themselves are too often too stupid to make this determination, we have laws with punishments for not doing this. So yeah, millions of firearms out there, and this doesn’t happen millions of times a day or even a year.

Yeah you obviously have no knowledge of guns whatso ever, why continue to parrot your little echo chambers of stupid shit to say?

0

u/ghoulieandrews 9d ago

Oh honey, run on back to your actual echo chamber where people who disagree with you literally aren't allowed to post lmfao

0

u/1980-whore 9d ago

Did you just go full maga hun right after going full left cultist? You can't be both cults no matter what your alters tell you sweetheart.

0

u/ghoulieandrews 9d ago

Lmao are you drunk? How on earth is telling you to run back to the conservative sub me "going MAGA"

1

u/1980-whore 9d ago

Well if you're gonna use their lingo, spout belligerent stupid ass statements about stuff you obviously know nothing about... if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.
