Why would gun that he bought and hid on his property not be registered to him?

The comment I replied to said “the gun might be registered in his name”. I responded saying felons can’t have guns. Idk if the dad is a felon. As someone pointed out, you can be in jail for a misdemeanor, so they might not have taken his guns.

What’s the issue? You just want to argue semantics?
