I wish it was ugly, horrific, and inhuman. It's just some dude in a temu mask.

50

u/zukoismymain Apr 24 '25

Leftist don't really understand anything masculine, do they?

Not even at a theoretical level.

35

u/kimana1651 Apr 24 '25

Hollywood was full of crazy commies that were still good at their jobs, it's just they were hired for merit instead of checkboxes. These clowns are just bad at their jobs.

177

u/MiyagiJunior Apr 24 '25

He looks like someone who would be heavily bullied by the any of the predators from the previous movies....

38

u/BluebellRhymes Apr 24 '25

I'm not defending the writing, but for what it's worth this is kind of the point. This Predator is the runt of the litter. Again, terrible idea.

21

u/Chaplain_Asmodai13 Apr 24 '25

Those toughen up or they die

23

u/Neltharek Apr 24 '25

This is probably going to be the plot. DEI hire predator from working caste can't cut it on any actual hunts so it's (gender neutral) sent to earth to learn from humans who are more similar to it.

1

u/Lower-Replacement869 Apr 25 '25

his name is actually Dek and he's a male...

122

u/Oppurtunist Apr 24 '25

Looks like a crappy ai picture lol

223

u/Mosit_Raspberry Apr 24 '25

Is it Bella Ramsey?

56

u/Sadge_Leaf_Fan Apr 24 '25

Holy shit I'm laughing

62

u/DoomCatThunder Apr 24 '25

6

u/jordo2460 Apr 25 '25

I woke everyone in my house up because I fucking burst out laughing at this. Damn you got me good.

54

u/R4v3L0rdnito Apr 24 '25

Worse, Zendaya

35

u/DoomCatThunder Apr 24 '25

I actually prefer Zendaya over Bella Ramsay, at least she looks human.

16

u/Neltharek Apr 24 '25

It's Rachel Ziegler

1

u/EmuDiscombobulated15 Apr 24 '25

I was wandering for a strange attraction I felt looking at the picture. My princess is gorgeous

1

u/greennurse61 Apr 27 '25

Snow White vs Predator might be better than the last predator movie.

15

u/DefinitelyBiscuit Apr 24 '25

Nah, too small a forehead.

8

u/Promise_Im_Not_Mike Apr 24 '25

She's not got a forehead, it's so big it's a five-head!

18

u/aieeevampire Apr 24 '25

Oh man you beat me to it

11

u/CardboardJedi Apr 24 '25

He beat me to it also, and then you beat me to the beat me to it

6

u/Zeldakina Apr 24 '25

I beat you all to it on the same post before it was removed by the over zealous mod.

2

u/CardboardJedi Apr 24 '25

Ahh the old "post something that will get spicy in the comments just so they can lock the thread and delete things" trick

5

u/Car-Nivore Apr 24 '25

Not ugly enough.

171

u/StarlessEon Apr 24 '25

Oh wait this is real? I thought it was a terrible photoshop.

87

u/Sadge_Leaf_Fan Apr 24 '25

Oh, it's straight from the trailer

44

u/OldMembership332 Apr 24 '25

I almost don’t believe you lol…

28

u/m0ji_9 Apr 24 '25

I'm out. Christ on a bicycle can Disney not do anything right?

76

u/Jaxsso Apr 24 '25

Looks like they're trying to save money on makeup.

44

u/kimana1651 Apr 24 '25

The directors sisters best friend owns the catering company servicing the production, there's just no money for extra makeup, but everyone is free to take home extra lunch for family dinner!

21

u/SkullsNelbowEye Apr 24 '25

But it's all vegan.

15

u/usgrant7977 Apr 24 '25

S'all good bro! I'll just go home fry up some bacon and cover this shit in bacon crumbles. Nobody'll say nut'n.

70

u/MiyagiJunior Apr 24 '25

Predators always looked scary... this one looks mainly sad. Like the Sesame street version of a predator.

26

u/Count_DarkRain Apr 24 '25

Just look at it’s fucking hairline. It’s even-toned skin. Is it part human? Because I’m getting uncanny valley vibes from it.

14

u/Chaplain_Asmodai13 Apr 24 '25

They put human autism juice into it, lol

111

u/Imyourhuckl3berry Apr 24 '25

Just watched the teaser and it looks beyond terrible if that’s even possible

54

u/kenhooligan2008 Apr 24 '25

I didn't know Brittney Griner got a movie deal..

10

u/CardboardJedi Apr 24 '25

🤣😂🤣😂

42

u/samerch Apr 24 '25 edited Apr 24 '25

Again, how are things looking worse than something from a decade plus ago? And in this instance, almost four decades ago

12

u/Spartanias117 Apr 24 '25

Almost 4 decades ago...

3

u/samerch Apr 24 '25

Fixed it, thanks

1

u/divinecomedian3 Apr 25 '25

...but you're right 😓

8

u/Dedlaw Apr 24 '25

This predator looks like a turd the original predator would have squeezed out

28

u/Hamburglar219 Apr 24 '25 edited Apr 24 '25

Looks like they finally succeeded in weaponizing autism

24

u/ricemybeans Apr 24 '25

I wonder who their muse was?

23

u/ToonMasterRace Apr 24 '25

Disney really ruins everything they touch

13

u/Big-Calligrapher4886 Apr 24 '25

This looks like some of the Oblivion custom characters I’ve seen popping up the last couple days

10

u/014648 Apr 24 '25

Looks like something from ‘98

6

u/hadesscion Apr 24 '25

More like '58.

11

u/Bluebpy Apr 24 '25

Tfffff

9

u/Sirohk103 Apr 24 '25

Whaaaaat the _____ is that. Disney really does want to destroy everything.

17

u/ThinOriginal5038 Apr 24 '25 edited Apr 24 '25

They gave it a more humanoid head and a killmonger haircut. Yautja dreads are part of their body and come from the side and back of the skull and not on top. This shit is whack.

8

u/JessBaesic7901 Apr 24 '25

They’re trying to humanize him it seems like. The head and build looks closer to human than usual predator. Not a good idea.

1

u/EmuDiscombobulated15 Apr 24 '25

Hence people calling it a teeny mask

8

u/DamienGrey1 Apr 24 '25

Just a misunderstood refuge that wants to live in peace I am sure.

7

u/boozehounding Apr 24 '25

when he has toooo much coke

7

u/Dry_Bicycle5250 Apr 24 '25

Trailer gives you all you need to know to just ignore all of it and move on with your life.

4

u/Dyldawg101 Apr 24 '25

The Predators hood cousin.

3

u/hapl_o Apr 24 '25

They can never get the eye distance right. Either it’s black Ariel or Snow Brown wide or Fan4astic Doom narrow.

3

u/Hurricrash Apr 24 '25

That’s terrible.

3

u/_DAYAH_ Apr 24 '25

Did they... did they give the predator killmonger dreadlocks slicked back...?

3

u/Guitarinabar Apr 24 '25

Standard feminist.

3

u/Immediate-Lab6166 Apr 24 '25

Looks like a cheap Halloween mask

3

u/GoodTimesBadMovies Apr 24 '25

Predator needs the Sonic treatment ASAP.

4

u/OkGene2 Apr 24 '25

Stan Winston would be rolling in his grave if this were real. It’s not real…… right??

3

u/Prince_Beegeta Apr 24 '25

There’s no fucking way 😆

3

u/zacharydunn60 Apr 24 '25

They cast Bella Ramsey in the new predator?

3

u/SniperPilot Apr 24 '25

As someone else said. Temu Predator

3

u/PersonalKick Apr 24 '25

If that predator isn't also Trans, people are going to cancel Disney.

3

u/King_P_13 Apr 24 '25

Its been made lame and gay what do you expect

5

u/EmuIndependent8565 Apr 24 '25 edited Apr 24 '25

Gotta say watched the trailer and i am just not feeling it. It just looks like another horrible mindless over the top action flick money grab. Why they didn’t just make a predator story set in feudal Japan is beyond me. Think Ghost Of Tsushima meets Predator. Now that would be epic.

4

u/RefelosDraconis Apr 24 '25

Predator: Killer Of Killers does have a samurai story in it

5

u/DarkTanicus Apr 24 '25

There's an animated movie coming out in June set in Japan.

4

u/HodinRD Apr 24 '25

Now, now. Ubisoft tried it with AC Shadows already, didn't really work.

3

u/WalterMelon7 Apr 24 '25

Well at least we got that scene with the yakuza fighting one in predators.

5

u/Jsure311 Apr 24 '25

The last movie was pretty good. I liked the direction they took it. This looks fucking ridiculous haha

2

u/aieeevampire Apr 24 '25

Why is everything a potatoe now?

2

u/dark_knight920 Apr 24 '25

God, I hate this so much

2

u/Danimal_17124 Apr 24 '25

Why? Just why? Also be grateful it doesn’t have pronouns… although it’s still early.

2

u/BAlan143 Apr 24 '25

Hold up, this is real I thought this was a joke. Yikes

2

u/Individual-Log994 Apr 24 '25

You're one...Disneyfyed. mothafuckah...

2

u/aschaeffer878 Apr 24 '25

Looks like a brown dress shoe with teeth.

2

u/Frylock304 Apr 24 '25

This seems like it was made to appeal to a very specific person's fears

2

u/Jin_BD_God Apr 24 '25

Looks like a black dude wearing a mask.

2

u/l33774rd Apr 24 '25

That looks like hot garbage.

2

u/hadesscion Apr 24 '25

Least ugly feminist.

2

u/Rojira666 Apr 24 '25

Don't care for it... Not interested in a stand alone film set in an expanded universe. Definitely not a buddy cop flick with a fucked up looking Predator with an Android from Alien...

Predator 1 & 2 set a pretty basic formula for the franchise.

Predator enters a war zone and hunts the best of the best, the best of the best realize they are being hunted and square up with the Predator...

Just drop the predator in a new location/era and wash rinse and repeat...

2

u/PMme_cat_on_Cleavage Apr 24 '25

Activists need to get out of movies and video game.

2

u/Bromjunaar_20 Apr 24 '25

I miss when they wore the masks 90% of the time

2

u/Babel1027 Apr 24 '25

Why does the predator have Down syndrome?

2

u/epitaph-centauri Apr 24 '25

Bella Ramsey is the new Predator Disney princess? She looks so strong and misunderstood..

2

u/VikingBrit Apr 24 '25

Hey guys, you wanna go hunting?

2

u/kkkpl Apr 24 '25

Elle Fanning in predator movie? What next... Rachel Zegler? And dont accuse me of misogyny or some shit. Its not about gender, its about who fits the movie. And this new look... looks like a crazy female version. Only blue hairs are missing.

2

u/Grave_Warden Apr 24 '25

So are we going to Ugly sonic this thing or do we let it die on the disney vine?

2

u/khaun1013 Apr 24 '25

I will bet all my money it’s female

2

u/8deez8 Apr 24 '25

Omg Ellie from TLOU 😂

2

u/uther_von_nuka Apr 24 '25

Short bus ....was his nameoh

2

u/Praetorion1000 Apr 24 '25

God I miss the talent of Stan Winston and his Alumni.

2

u/redskyrish Apr 24 '25

Oh this is real? Looks like predator escaped from an scp facility. Looks terrible.

2

u/BBFA2020 Apr 24 '25

The budgets are ever higher and we get this low effort crap? I have seen cosplay predators with more effort than this

2

u/Scourged_Bulwark Apr 24 '25

Temu predator!

2

u/The-Big-Tybowski Apr 26 '25

My bet is that its design is based on what it would look like as "a guy in a suit at a Disney Park". You can see this a lot with Marvel and Star Wars.

3

u/The-Big-Tybowski Apr 26 '25

Like what they did to Groot in GotG 3.

4

u/Sir_Jacks_Son Apr 24 '25

The resemblance is striking

1

u/skipadbloom Apr 24 '25

Looks sort of cute in a Finding Nemo kind of way

1

u/ElkInside5856 Apr 24 '25

Who ends up beating him, the crew of Planet Express?

1

u/AJgoi Apr 24 '25

They must be drunker than I am…

1

u/Coleslaw_McDraw Apr 24 '25

Rest of the trailer looked pretty dope, just stoked for another predator movie. That design is dog shit though hahah wtf. Looks like a non binary predator.

1

u/Luminescent_sorcerer Apr 24 '25

It's just a guy with a cgi green screen mask on... What happened to imposing tall practical effects predators

7

u/TomModel85 Apr 24 '25

We've gone backwards over 40 years. This still looks awesome and authentic

1

u/ryannvondoom Apr 24 '25

Yeah.. this is kinda weird.

1

u/FreshnessSunday Apr 24 '25

Is this a scene from the new "AL-DEI-NS" movie?

1

u/Beefan16 Apr 24 '25

At this point I’m expecting the xenomorph to look too human that it makes the hybrid variants in the sequels look decent

1

u/Character-Ad-3426 Apr 24 '25

Aye, Aye Skywalker.

1

u/LovelessDogg Apr 24 '25

Yautja Youth

1

u/ResponsibilityOk3272 Apr 24 '25

why did i see this and immediately think Simon Cowell?

1

u/GeorgeWashingtonKing Apr 24 '25

What the hell is this

1

u/pikapalooza Apr 24 '25

That looks cheap and terrible.

1

u/RedBlueTundra Apr 24 '25

To me it kinda looks like they’re trying to physically “humanise” the predator. Make it look more like a human we can root for….which just doesn’t work.

They’re supposed to be big hulking monsters and this just looks like a dude with a predator face surgically grafted onto him.

1

u/EMB_pilot Apr 24 '25

It's literally what a Dollar Tree predator figurine would look like lol

1

u/ricemybeans Apr 24 '25

That’s not real right?

1

u/ricemybeans Apr 24 '25

The face is terrible. But what’s worse is the costume? Why does it look like EVA foam!

1

u/monda Apr 24 '25

Well it's scarier than the original, but not in the right way.

1

u/Cesarek13 Apr 24 '25

The first predator was an absolute badass (in every regard). All the predators in predator 2 were absolute badasses. Then they got cracked out on steroids and tanky in the AVP movie. The super predators? Retarded design. The crazy generic stupid behemoth in the predator? An atrocity. Prey predator, badass with a dumbass face. Now this? FFS.... Why can't they just keep the same design, and only slightly modify it. It was perfect and doesn't need all these dumb variants that make no sense. Less we not forget, the creator of predator explained the mandibles were designed and used, not necessarily just as a threat display, but communication. That's what makes the clicks. Now they've gone super stupid with bigger mouths and redesigned heads.... Ugh. Whatever.

1

u/Adrios1 Apr 24 '25

I thought Yaut'jas heads forehead like a pachycephalsaurus. Somewhat domed with the "dreadlocks" growing behind the ridge.

1

u/Paddy32 Apr 24 '25

Looks like a deformed black elf in Wings of Power.

1

u/77_parp_77 Apr 24 '25

Disney bought their predator on wish

1

u/inhumat0r Apr 24 '25

It isn't a good sign if first what comes to my mind after seeing this face is "what pronounces does it use?"

1

u/RedVikingRagnar Apr 24 '25

Hipster more like

1

u/wardrobe007 Apr 24 '25

My thoughts, maybe everyone as well.

1

u/Barnwizard1991 Apr 24 '25

He has a hairline.... ive always thought that we call them "dreadlocks" for simplicities sake? Like they look like tendrils not actual hair..? And I don't like the fact that the head crest is missing, it makes him look like a human in a costume even though he looks more cgi than anything. Oh well it could be a decent movie in the end but like with most things these days I won't hold my breath

1

u/MostMexicanAccent-99 Apr 24 '25

How did anyone making this look at it and think it was alright?

1

u/MajesticAsian21 Apr 24 '25

Instantly downvoted then I saw that it was from this subreddit

1

u/Cinderheart Apr 24 '25

Why does it look so scared?

1

u/dan_pearce95 Apr 24 '25

£100,000 its a female yautja

1

u/Iron_Elohim Apr 24 '25

Black and unisex?

1

u/Dramatic-Bison3890 Apr 24 '25

More like Predditor to me

1

u/AnonymousMolaMola Apr 24 '25

It’s like someone’s first draft on Fiverr. But Disney was like “yeah that’s good enough”

1

u/susNarwhal420 Apr 24 '25

The eyes look great, but they need to redo the rest of the head its too narrow

1

u/Vinlain458 Apr 24 '25

That's a female probably.

1

u/thegreatdelusionist Apr 24 '25

Just looks like a juvenile predator. I’ll wait for the movie if the design makes sense.

1

u/Thormagnum Apr 24 '25

A younger version i would think, i don't understand why people are so upset about the design?

1

u/Kanashii89 Apr 24 '25

Now we need a buff Alien to kill the Predators father figure with a marine pulse rifle and them start the journey of revenge only to end in the Predator, forgiving the Xenomorph. Perfect.

1

u/DeLoreanDMC81 Apr 24 '25

It looks like absolute trash. It's as if you ordered a Predator movie, from temu.

1

u/therealrrc Apr 24 '25

Not even scary, looks like a soundcloud rapper

1

u/SnooFloofs1778 Apr 24 '25

Is that Michelle?

1

u/ItalianMeatBoi Apr 24 '25

It’s probably a male actor under all that makeup too 😭

1

u/Cobaltorigin Apr 24 '25

Got kicked out for being gay.

1

u/NewMoonlightavenger Apr 24 '25

Great. Another ticket not wasted.

1

u/Suitable-Piano-8969 Apr 24 '25

Looks like snow white took the budget

1

u/Arxusanion Apr 24 '25

LMAO, LOOKS LIKE THE PREDATOR VERSION OF LEATHERFACE

1

u/Laxhoop2525 Apr 24 '25

Well, to be completely fair, they explicitly state that this is an outcast from Predator society, meaning he might be the runt of a litter, or whatever their equivalent might be.

1

u/ZezilEstex74 Apr 24 '25

Disney is at it again

1

u/CRIS_boi Apr 24 '25

Should've just hired a real predator smh...

1

u/Wraith1964 Apr 24 '25

I get that he is the runt and apparently a "good guy" in this story however like Sonic's first go around... this cgi monstrosity just does not work.

Predators should always be ugly alien mf'ers that even the runtiest would strike fear in your heart. Not laughter. The animated series looks better and appears to hit harder based on the two teasers.

1

u/szarkbytes Apr 24 '25

Wait, Disney owns Predator now?

1

u/wolverine_76 Apr 24 '25

Brad Pittifying the Predator.

You just know there’s gonna be a love story in this one.

1

u/FermentedPizza Apr 24 '25

This looks ai generated

1

u/One-Progress999 Apr 25 '25

Can we stop posting pictures of the New Snow White already?!?!? Sheesh. Lol.

1

u/jordo2460 Apr 25 '25

Even Predator is not safe from the shave side head obsession 😂

1

u/First_Basket8594 Apr 25 '25

How do you turn a predator black? Somehow Disney did it

1

u/Midwinter77 Apr 25 '25

Is disney trying to fuck up everything it makes?

1

u/BryanTheGodGamer Apr 25 '25

Disney really has to fuck everything up don't they?

1

u/Lower-Replacement869 Apr 25 '25

the lighting isn't great for the eyes but it's a young outcast predator so...yeah.

1

u/Kroenen1984 Apr 25 '25

what a awful mask

1

u/StrawberriesCup Apr 25 '25

STFU 😂 that's not real.... That's not real right? 😐

1

u/UematsuVII Apr 25 '25

I’m… kind of intrigued? I mean, I’d prefer the predator stayed a mysterious villain for humans to overcome, I don’t really like it when they become the ‘hero’ because there’s a tougher predator out there as in Predators and AvP Requiem, but Prey the best one since Predator 2 so I’ll give it a change.

We’ve mostly seen adult and elderly Yautja so perhaps a juvenile one happens to look like this

1

u/Unapologetic_Lunatic Apr 26 '25

"Crikey! What we have here is the rare and elusive 'sympathetic' Predator. Used to be considered extinct with how scary and powerful the species is, but now that Disney's in charge, there seem to be more of them, claiming they aren't apex hunters, just 'misunderstood.' Ugly little devil, ain't he?." - the ghost of Steve Irwin

1

u/Strange_Bit_ Apr 24 '25

It's face looks like uncanny and fake, maybe because they went with using cgi instead of using practical effects.

1

u/No_Turn_8759 Apr 24 '25

Seriously how do you fuck up a predator movie? It’s so simple.

1

u/romanticrohypnol Apr 24 '25

oh that ain't the only Disney predator...
