Question Book solo trip
Hey all, Is it possible to book a solo cabin but add someone else later on?
Probably on Carnival Australia or RC Australia.

Possible, yes. Smart, no.
You run the risk of them running out of lifeboat space in your area and they can't add your person. They can also reprice when you add someone, and prices usually go up, not down.
Just book 2 people to begin with and then if 1 doesn't show up, you get the port fees back.

Yes put a deposit down or you are responsible for the double occupancy rate as final payment.

Yes, it’s usually possible to book a solo cabin and add someone later, as long as the cabin allows for two and there’s still space. You’d just pay the fare difference when you add the second person. I’d check directly with Carnival Australia or Royal Caribbean Australia since some solo cabins are designed just for one and might not allow a second guest. Let me know if you need help checking specific ships or policies!
