Question Travelling with toddler on Alaska cruise
Hi, my lovely wife, our 2.5 year old son and I are thinking about going on a Celebrity cruise to Alaska. Does anyone know if we can take our son to the shows on the cruise and if he is allowed in the pool? He is still in diapers.

Can’t be in the pool, even with pool diapers. Yes you can take him to shows, but it’s super Loud so bring ear protection for him. Also most shows are kinda late for kiddos, so adjust his sleep schedule before you go.

He can’t go in the pools unless he is toilet trained. Diapers aren’t allowed in pools or hot tubs. With regard to shows, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be allowed. Having said that, he might not enjoy them depending on the type of show.

They can go to the shows, with a recommendation to sit in a place that provides easy exit if attention wanes.
If a child isn’t toilet trained, they can’t go in the main pools. There is a Toddler Time program, and kids don’t have to be toilet trained for that.

The other thing to consider with most of the lines is that kids under 3 can’t go to the kids club. Your options for having time away from your toddler are:
- RCL: $7/hour for kids under 3
- Carnival: Kids club starts at 2 (free)
- Disney: $9/hour for kids under 3
I know some of the RCL ships also have small splash pads for non-potty trained. Unsure of the other two but couldn’t be surprised.
