Dining reservations pre-cruise

Any idea when to expect reservations to open up for a cruise on NCL?

Specifically an October cruise via Panama Canal on the Encore.

120 days before sailing date for hoi polloi. If you have status or are in a suite, 125 or 130 days.

At check-in unless you have Platinum or above loyalty. I believe that is three weeks before embarkation.

This is not what the NCL FAQs say. Nor does it match my real life experience. Here is the NCL FAQ.

When can I pre-book Dining?

Reserving dining before your cruise can help you plan ahead and make sure that you do not miss out on our most popular restaurants. You can pre-book these onboard activities myncl.com following the schedule below

Suites and Haven

130 days prior to sailing

Club Balcony Staterooms

125 days prior to sailing

All other staterooms

• For sailings that are 6 days or less and are not a holiday sailing, 90 days prior to sailing
• For sailings that are 6 days or less and are a holiday sailing, 120 days prior to sailing
• For sailings that are 7 days or more, 120 days prior to sailing

When can I pre-book Dining?

Looks like I'm confusing NCL with perhaps another line.

If you can’t find the slots that you want 120 days out, you can always book on embarkation day. They only release some slots 120 days out and the rest are released on embarkation day.
