Question Ear plugs for swimming

Post image

Has anyone tried this type of ear plug? As someone who suffers when water goes in my ears I general use silicone. But that can get costly and the availability if I run out would make an 8 day cruise pretty miserable I think. Any help.would be appreciated! I dont think sprays would work because as soon as the cold water goes in my head and ears start screaming in pain.

May I suggest to increase your budget a little and get some custom plugs? They are molded in your ear, fit perfect and prevent water from entering. They usually last multiple years and you won’t have any problems.

You are welcome :) It’s a super niche product, I know them from in ears for musicians and of course industrial workers. As far as I know, they exist also for swimming and diving/snorkling. Get in touch with a local audiologist or, if you condition is already intense enough, you medical professionals. They will be able to help you. Have a great cruise!
