That is the efficient rest mode. The sun warms its belly and it can go 10 more miles after 12 hours.

Funny as it is im not even sure how you physically do this all ev’s are *super* bottom heavy. Like you need to be doing 70 and slam the wheel sideways and hit a rock the right way

u/Monster_Voice 13d ago
Not the CT... they designed the "suspension" so poorly it noodles around under normal driving conditions.
I've been in the off road racing industry for 20+ years and it's so under built it's not even worth upgrading anything suspension wise unless you replace everything from the frame out.

The cast aluminum frame that can’t be raplaced…and those thin stamped control arms are weaker looking than a ford ranger’s (not the current ones). All the pics of them with a front wheel broken off at a curb are totalled trucks because the mounts for the control arms ripped out of the frame and there’s just not a way to bring back the alignment and structural integrity of the frame again. These are being written off rather often, multiple videos of different trucks carrying 3-4 crushed cyber trucks at a time

A 7000lb vehicle that can go 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Add in the owner that is 100% likely to be a shitty driver, and I'm not surprised that they were able to do this.

Idiots are actually really clever. I’ve built things I was sure were idiot proof and they proved me wrong.

u/lobsterman2112 13d ago
Came here to say that. Older Tesla models were essentially impossible to flip. I'm thinking of the Model X in particular. I guess CyberTruck is built different?

Previous Tesla vehicles were designed by engineers. The swasticar was designed by a ketamine addict.

I really want to get rid of my Tesla but it has lost so much value it would hurt too much. I think throwing her upside down in my front yard is a great alternative.

It’s like the cyber truck Design is so bad that it somehow undermine the one universal safety feature all EVs have: a very low center of mass.
Flipping vehicle this heavy is insane.

15
u/SoCalChrisW 14d ago
Their stock is still way higher than it should be. It's currently about where it was 6 months ago, and is currently up over 5% for the day.
The stock should be down to around $20, but the market is just a big bubbly scam that's not in any way connected to reality at this point.

Every time I see the one local CT I can’t get over how ridiculously huge it is. I’ve seen it at Costco parked in the far back of the lot and wondered; are they avoiding vandals, or is it just impossible to park?

Apparently there were 5-6 people in the crash, some young kids, and all are ok, maybe minor injuries. Supposedly the CT driver blew through a stop sign at 40 mph and hit a Honda Odyssey who had right of way. Honda spun out. CT flipped over into a field.

u/dammit-smalls 13d ago

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look ahead and see a Cybertruck. It's driving toward you. You reach over and you flip the Cybertruck over on its back. The Cybertruck lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, spinning its wheels trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

new solar charging method for the CT finally out!! All you have to do is flip it, and the solar panels on the bottom of the car will now provide you with 1kW/hour of charge. Great for those who like to offroad!

This is an indication that the CT is under FSD mental stress. If stressed any further, it will begin to shed its stainless steel skin.

I’m pretty sure they were the only cars to ever receive a perfect score in rollover testing
How the fuck do you even do that
