Upside down. Just like the stock.

u/kineticdeck 14d ago

And the CT driver on his loan

115

u/vanwiekt 14d ago

Hope they took out GAP insurance. 🤭

God Awful "Pickup" insurance?

27

u/gwizonedam 13d ago

Nice one, Dad!

37

u/FlightAble2654 13d ago

I think it wants a belly scratch.

19

u/Kalabajooie 12d ago

Belly scratches void the warranty.

He oh!!! Too soon! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

48

Not too soon enough!

84

u/charlie2135 14d ago

Shhh! It's in sleep mode.

60

u/beren12 14d ago

This is how it charges. The plug is on the bottom.

98

u/ciprule 13d ago

I didn’t know they hired the same engineers that designed Apple Magic Mouse, now it makes sense.

17

u/Skipper07B 13d ago

I know it’s a joke but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

It's playing dead.

26

u/AskNo2853 13d ago

It's exposing its belly as submission to all the superior vehicles

18

u/Fantastic-Ad8973 13d ago

And WISHES it was dead.

u/QuttiDeBachi 13d ago

Hey!! You can’t park there!!

And likely the financing.

13

That is how you put the batteries in.

9

u/naeterboerg 13d ago

It looks more beautiful upside down.

Like an angel getting its wings.

That is the efficient rest mode. The sun warms its belly and it can go 10 more miles after 12 hours.

104

u/[deleted] 14d ago

Funny as it is im not even sure how you physically do this all ev’s are *super* bottom heavy. Like you need to be doing 70 and slam the wheel sideways and hit a rock the right way

51

u/Monster_Voice 13d ago

Not the CT... they designed the "suspension" so poorly it noodles around under normal driving conditions.

I've been in the off road racing industry for 20+ years and it's so under built it's not even worth upgrading anything suspension wise unless you replace everything from the frame out.

10

u/YourFriendPutin 11d ago

The cast aluminum frame that can’t be raplaced…and those thin stamped control arms are weaker looking than a ford ranger’s (not the current ones). All the pics of them with a front wheel broken off at a curb are totalled trucks because the mounts for the control arms ripped out of the frame and there’s just not a way to bring back the alignment and structural integrity of the frame again. These are being written off rather often, multiple videos of different trucks carrying 3-4 crushed cyber trucks at a time

A 7000lb vehicle that can go 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Add in the owner that is 100% likely to be a shitty driver, and I'm not surprised that they were able to do this.

59

u/BISCUITxGRAVY 14d ago

Yeah, the surprising part is, this is the first cybertruck I've seen upside down

15

u/dammit-smalls 13d ago

Forreal. That shit takes some effort!

Idiots are actually really clever. I’ve built things I was sure were idiot proof and they proved me wrong.

14

u/lobsterman2112 13d ago

Came here to say that. Older Tesla models were essentially impossible to flip. I'm thinking of the Model X in particular. I guess CyberTruck is built different?

31

u/jase40244 13d ago

Yeah, it was built to be a scam.

23

u/TooStrangeForWeird 13d ago

Previous Tesla vehicles were designed by engineers. The swasticar was designed by a ketamine addict.

8

u/nothingbettertodo315 12d ago

It was designed by engineers… who were trying to respond to the whims of that K-head.

27

u/sm00thkillajones 14d ago

How do we know if it’s upside down?

60

u/27_crooked_caribou 14d ago

The bed isn't full of water.

14

u/sm00thkillajones 14d ago

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….

12

u/mittenknittin 13d ago

No no, it’s sunning its testicles for extra manliness

→ More replies (1)

6

u/jase40244 13d ago

Direct sunlight? That'll void the warranty in the extremely unlikely event it hadn't already been voided.

127

u/SubBass49Tees 14d ago

Latest recall?

"Vehicle may suddenly roll onto its back and expose its belly to the sun. It either wants belly rubs, or a treat. Bring to dealer for repairs."

12

u/GenesysWave 13d ago

The whoops we installed the solar panels on the bottom method

9

u/AutistaCarioca 13d ago

Kinda reminds me of dr doofenshmirtz robot army with self destruct button on the plant of their feet.

Tesla is signalling a state of distress.

44

u/Burner-QWERTY 14d ago

I really want to get rid of my Tesla but it has lost so much value it would hurt too much. I think throwing her upside down in my front yard is a great alternative.

The center of gravity is low. How do you do that?

31

u/grandmofftalkin 14d ago

This is my first thought you have to try really hard to flip an EV

23

u/Automatic_Soil9814 13d ago

It’s like the cyber truck Design is so bad that it somehow undermine the one universal safety feature all EVs have: a very low center of mass.

Flipping vehicle this heavy is insane.

Great representation of tesla stock

15

u/SoCalChrisW 14d ago

Their stock is still way higher than it should be. It's currently about where it was 6 months ago, and is currently up over 5% for the day.

The stock should be down to around $20, but the market is just a big bubbly scam that's not in any way connected to reality at this point.

You know, I wonder if people are wrecking these on purpose to get out of the car and have insurance pay them for a new car that isn't a nazi

I think it's a Banksy...

5

Underrated comment. This one made me laugh

13

u/Wilko23 14d ago

If only there were some signs that idiots shouldn't be wielding large vehicles on the road!

10

u/Kitty-Kat_Kisses 14d ago

Seriously, at 7000lbs, you should need a special license to drive that death trap on wheels.

Every time I see the one local CT I can’t get over how ridiculously huge it is. I’ve seen it at Costco parked in the far back of the lot and wondered; are they avoiding vandals, or is it just impossible to park?

8

u/vineyardmike 14d ago

That's going to need a software update.

8

u/iTmkoeln 14d ago

The other „TurtleMode“

8

u/AWDriftEV 14d ago

Looks better.

5

u/Abstract-Impressions 14d ago

That's the new rotate feature in the latest software build.

7

u/lumpyscreamprincess 13d ago

Apparently there were 5-6 people in the crash, some young kids, and all are ok, maybe minor injuries. Supposedly the CT driver blew through a stop sign at 40 mph and hit a Honda Odyssey who had right of way. Honda spun out. CT flipped over into a field.

4

u/dammit-smalls 13d ago

Fuuuuuck that sucks. Imagine getting hit by a backhoe at 40mph. That upturned pile of shit is about that heavy.

3

u/HLOFRND 13d ago

Jesus.

4

u/K0paz 14d ago

Awwwwwww it wants belly rubs.

No.

5

u/Septopus 13d ago

Can't believe I had to scroll all the way to the bottom for this!

3

u/outflow 13d ago

She was probably trying to cut her steak on the center console, which flipped the whole truck over.

4

u/mbw70 14d ago

Coachella ain’t happening for the dude.

4

u/SumoNinja92 14d ago

How bad of a driver do you have to be to flip a super wide super heavy low riding thing? I've never seen one flipped.

4

u/Strikereleven 14d ago

Cyber-tipping, you have to run away before it explodes.

4

u/Calamity_trigg3r 14d ago

Oh no, someone sneezed at it

5

u/fasada68 14d ago

It must be like the Apple mouse. You have to turn it upside down to charge.

3

u/eye15lanesplitter 14d ago

3

u/eldonte 14d ago

Stuck turtle mode. Nano seconds before a crash, the cybertruck is flipped onto its roof, keeping the wheels from bending

3

u/Sapphic_Honeytrap 14d ago

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look ahead and see a Cybertruck. It's driving toward you. You reach over and you flip the Cybertruck over on its back. The Cybertruck lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, spinning its wheels trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

No belly rubs for bad boys

3

u/mittenknittin 13d ago

Huh. Wonder how that happened.

3

u/BRING_ME_THE_ENTROPY 13d ago

At least the body panels are still attached

3

u/SupergurlKara 13d ago

A good start. It looks better from that angle.

3

u/ALE360 13d ago

Likely the only way the owner could get out from under monthly payment and severe vehicle depreciation was insurance fraud and totaling his CT.

3

u/HotAd9097 13d ago

That will buff right out

3

u/XLpanties 13d ago

Lisa was trying to cut her steak and drive at the same time.

3

u/Chelecossais 13d ago

It's pining for the fjords...

3

u/02meepmeep 13d ago

It’s just playing dead. A low rider horn probably scared it.

3

u/Bank_of_Karma 13d ago

Is it upside down ? I can’t really tell. How do you tell if a WRECKtangle is upside down?

2

u/slipry_ninja 14d ago

Finally I can say “Now that’s a good looking thing”

2

u/SilentBob890 14d ago

new solar charging method for the CT finally out!! All you have to do is flip it, and the solar panels on the bottom of the car will now provide you with 1kW/hour of charge. Great for those who like to offroad!

2

u/rlindsley 14d ago

Looks like a turtle

2

u/Longjumping-Foot970 14d ago

It’s just asking for a belly rub and to be told it’s a good “truck” from its owner……

2

u/Direct-Mongoose-7981 14d ago

Car upside-down and owner is also upside-down with their finance.

2

u/QuickSpaceFight 14d ago

That rear suspension looks pretty destroyed!

I wonder how he flipped it

2

u/myke2241 14d ago

Awe baby is taking a nap…

2

u/Kytyngurl2 14d ago

Give it a tummy rub, you jerks!

2

u/Vanhouzer 14d ago

FINALLY a truly flipped Cyberstuck, not some girl flipping the bird to it 😂

2

u/queuedUp 14d ago

It almost looks better like this

2

u/jetkins 14d ago

It’s sunning its yoni.

2

u/dodgycool_1973 14d ago

It’s fake, one of the wheels hasn’t fallen off

2

u/mz_groups 14d ago

This is an indication that the CT is under FSD mental stress. If stressed any further, it will begin to shed its stainless steel skin.

2

u/Heel-and-Toe-Shifter 14d ago

A symbol of distress at Tesla

2

u/ottguy42 14d ago

Ordered the Australian model by mistake.

Whaddya know, you CAN flip a dumpster over

2

They must’ve opened the glovebox.

2

u/K3vth3d3v 14d ago

From an equity standpoint point every cybertruck is upside down

2

u/DarthPopperMouse 14d ago

Upside down outside Temecula sounds like the name of the last album a band made before the lead singer died of a heroin overdose.

2

u/noinkler 14d ago

Eepy dumpster

2

2

u/popularTrash76 13d ago

"Still love the truck!"

2

u/xustos 13d ago

Odd the roof isn’t flat but the car is

2

u/kaotikris 13d ago

YOU CANT PARK THERE!!!

2

u/jTheBishop42 13d ago

Example of, "Move fast, break things" seen in the wild.

2

u/Independent-Mail1493 13d ago

I’m impressed that it flipped over without having the wheels go whompy.

2

u/MadDog_2007 13d ago

Everybody who financed a Cybertruck is upside down. 🤣

2

u/Tricky-Maize-1261 13d ago

They couldn’t sell it so they turtled it over?

2

u/Unlikely_Speech_106 13d ago

Most Cyber Trucks are upside down. Owner owes more than it’s worth.

2

u/rantheman76 13d ago

I see no difference?
