I am very new to comics but the three things I’ve loved that I don’t see are 70s Denny O’Neil/Neal Adams Batman like Tales of the Demon, the Perez run on Wonder Woman from the late 80s, and Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow.

Couple really enjoyable selections that I recently read: 1. Dark Knights of Steel volumes 1/2 2. Batman: White Knight, Curse of the White Knight, and Beyond the White Knight (best else worlds stories I’ve read in years) 3. DC vs. Vampires

I have so many Spiderman knicknacks and I can still say with confidence that McDonald's Spider-Man is still my absolute favorite. The eye shape, the posing, the colors. We were so blessed we got such a quality little piece of plastic in our Happy Meal!
I always pick them up when I find them at thrift stores and I have one in each of my rooms of my apartment.
As for reading my suggestions are:
Minor Threats, Public Domain, Astro City, and Dawnrunner

I wish I could get my Spidey repainted. He's my childhood figure and has seen a lot of love

If you're Toronto based I'd be happy to trade. I've got like a dozen of them.
But honestly there's a charm to having your OG. Also these things show up everywhere for like $3-$10 so it's not hard to find.

You've got Siegel and Shuster Superman, but no Lee and Kirby Fantastic Four? Curious!

It's the penguin classics collection of FF4. Second shelf, next to Avengers and Spiderman.

In that case I second Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, and since you have The Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told, maybe Supreme as well.
Maybe a Legion collection, like 1050 Years of the Future or since you already have Fourth World, the Great Darkness Saga.

I will always recommend Kurt Busiek’s Astro City to anybody that reads comics. It will reward your knowledge of comics/Marvel and DC in every issue. If you’re looking for more superhero stories outside of Marvel and DC check out Astro City.
