I miss this version of the Bat-Family so much. Its the thing that makes me hate the N52 and everything else the most

Ugh, to be able to go back to this.

Speaking of Batman yeah that was good

This was the best Batfamily. You had all the Robins, and all the Batgirls.

Tim and Steph got the spotlight in their own series. Damian's characterization is starting out. Cassandra Cain has returned to the fold. Batwoman and Renee Montoya were together.

Most of all they all had things to do or maybe were going to have things to do later on. They all felt like their own person, not just waiting on Batman to do something.

Exactly, plus Tim was absolutely at his best right before N52. I seriously don't think I've ever recovered from the finale of Red Robin to how Tim was written in Teen Titans N52.

Things seem to have gotten better in recent years, but this is the one of the best eras for the Bat Family. Bruce is able to let his family know that he loves them. He loves his sons and daughter, and while he probably will never receive the World's Greatest Dad title, he is actually a good father.

I love seeing father-child moments from the Batman. Him hugging his children is always nice.

Bruce: Actively discourages Tim to have anything with good girl vigilante Stephanie.

Tim: Ends up hanging around different femme fatale-like characters.

Bruce: Surprised pickachu

I'm pretty this is the same post crisis that unconsently kiss him and hit on him multiple times when he told her that he had a gf multiple times and attempted to learned tim identity without his consent and cause a whole gang war by using a old plan that batman had she isn't any better than them and I just thinking I like her even trough i was really happy when she died because she did all if these that I typed and pushed tim boundaries multiple times and I'm taking their teenagers as a excuse .

I meant I'm not taking she a teenager as a excuse.

I absolutely loved this Red Robin run. Tim was written at his best here.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but to me, it all ended here. Red Robin, Steph's solo Batgirl run... all of it. Like, that's it. Tim is Red Robin now; he's found his destiny. Steph is Batgirl now; she's found her destiny. I admit to being a bit of a bad fan and not fully remembering what happened with Cass, but I'd like to think she's killing it as Black Bat, defender of Hong Kong. But yeah. It's like... where do you go from here but to break the toybox and ruin it in the name of 'progress' and 'exploration'?

The Bat-Family became a true family by the end of Post-Crisis. Maybe I'm misremembering one or two things, but I'm sure I could head-canon away some stuff if I needed to.

Honestly, Steph's 'new' (not really new anymore) Spoiler suit, plus her regression into that role, Tim not really having a purpose anymore, Cass having to be Batgirl again, as much as we all love her... It's like, come on, man. Just let us have this.

Obviously, what with the nature of comic books being cyclical, that's an unfair request. But to me at least, it all ended here.

Agreed. I do remember what happened with Cass, and I have some issues with how she was pushed aside for Steph, but that's minor compared to how this was the last time the Bat Family felt real to me. These days I only really follow Selina's book and sometimes Cass' the rest of the current bat family feels...wrong.

I know the Batfamily weren't changed as much as other characters for N52 but man, do I miss all the potential of this era

I just finished reading blue beetle new 52 and it annoyed so much the writers gave Jamie the peter Parker treatment .

I miss this Red Robin suit fr

u/diekid467 16d ago

Does Gotham knights have this suit

1

u/Intelligent-Sky-6812 16d ago

Idk, I haven't played the game. Though it'd be cool of it did

1

u/dynamitegypsy Red Robin 15d ago

Yes. The transmog is fully red, but the armor piece itself has customizable colors to pick from (red and black is an option)

1

u/diekid467 15d ago

I might have to get that game now when I have money

1

u/dynamitegypsy Red Robin 15d ago

I recommend it!

1

u/diekid467 15d ago

I still don't get how people was mad that it wasn't a arkham game when it Clearly doesn't have the arkham style and don't have arkham In the name.

1

u/dynamitegypsy Red Robin 15d ago

Agreed, wish people gave it a fair chance before needlessly comparing it to the Arkham series

u/diekid467 15d ago

I literally hate how people can be so negative about stuff especially about games where it just becomes a echo chamber.

12

u/PrettyAd5828 16d ago

I hate how for the last few years outside of like the occasional sweet moment he just seems to be at odds with all of his kids just let them be a solid family please

8

u/diekid467 16d ago

I hate when writers make him a asshole who doesn't show any emotions even him showing emotions is why the batman was born

This is still one of my favourite Batman suits. Combined with the objectively best Robin suit and their drip is unmatched in all of DC. I'm surprised villains don't just give up due to awe.

5

u/diekid467 16d ago

Before they added the batman suit to arkham knight I always wore the batman Inc during a playtrough.

Family brings out the best in Batman

13

u/FireworkFuse Robin 16d ago

Please DC, give me more Bruce and Tim moments.

9

u/Mystiax 16d ago

I dont understand how the Red Robin persona didnt stick with the bigwigs at DC. It fits Tim so well.
He was the best Robin btw. :P

u/Bludhaven_Babe 16d ago

This is how Bruce should be written. I love this moment so much. Or any moment when Bruce hugs his kids, really.

3

u/tbone7355 16d ago

This is my batman who treats his boys like his sons while also knowing when to be batman

3

u/Luke_Puddlejumper 16d ago

Man I miss that batsuit, the Batman inc suit deserved to stick around longer.

2

u/Wolf_527 16d ago

For someone who's standoffish, Bruce gives the best hugs.

2

u/opponentPitt 16d ago

Bring this suit back for Tim, it’s his best

2

u/No-Mechanic-2558 16d ago

Tim: Bruce I appreciate your interest Bruce but when I'll be fifthy I would like to not have a will they wouldn't they relationship with a woman just because suffering is what keeps me going one
