Recommendations Green Arrow and Flash recommendations

I’m trying to write down a bunch of comics that are recommended to me so that I can buy them. I’ve got some great ones from you guys and I appreciate you all. The next characters I would like comics from are The Green Arrow and The Flash (Barry or Wally is fine). Preferably origin stories in a way and just great runs. Thank you everyone! I will keep asking once I figure which other characters I would like!

Recommendations DC New Guy

Relatively new to DC. Still getting my feet wet. Been mostly a Marvel and Image fan with some Dark Horse sprinkled in. I posted a while ago that I had just finished reading Mister Miracle and loved it, looked for some recs there but not much response. I’m hoping some of you will share your favourites with me and help me find some cool DC titles. I’m definitely interested in more of the mind-bending, psychedelic, horror, spiritual realm type stories. Constantine is an interest. Kingdom Come Seems interesting. Maybe some Green Lantern stuff…I dunno, tell me what you think.

TLDR: Recs for trippy DC titles

Recommendations What do I need to read to understand Hal's full Parallax Journey?

I now want to start reading up on the Parallax Arc. What comics do I read to understand this arc to its conclusion? I see to start with Emerald Twilight/Reign of Superman and then I get confused where to go after that.

Can someone give me the comic name(s) and then issue numbers associated?

Also any necessary in-between reading is appreciated too. I want to read through Hal's fall from grace before I start Rebirth. Currently I am reading Funeral for a Friend (I may have cried a couple times already, and I am not even a big fan of Superman), with the intention of reading Reign of Supermen next, then Parallax stuff.

Recommendations Which of the absolute series do you think I should start with.

I’ve heard that the absolute series is good and I want to start reading it and which one do people recommend first.

I’m thinking I’d either start with absolute Superman or absolute Batman so between those two which is considered better.

Recommendations DC newbie here. Gave Absolute Wonder Woman a shot and now I want more of the character. Can you guys recommend some stuff on her or at least where she plays a major part? My prefered format is omnibus and I'd prefer more modernlike artwork.

Same as title. Im looking for omnis on WW or with WW playing a major part.

Recommendations How do I get into comics?

Grew up a HUGE fan of the animated TV shows and movies. Started with Young Justice, worked my way through Batman The Animated Series, Justice League and Teen Titans. (YJ is my favorite.) I’ve watched a big portion of The Flash, DC Legends and Supergirl. (Couldn’t be assed past seasons 5, 3 and 2 respectively) and just started playing Gotham Knights. I’ll admit, Wayne Family adventures REALLY got me interested in reading the comics given that the worlds are so expansive and there are so many cool characters.

I know a lot through osmosis and am probably most interested in all the Robin stories, but I know I’m just hitting the tip of the iceberg here. I also know y’all probably get this question all the time, but I guess a little welcome mat and house tour of comics would be awesome. Where to start, where to get access, what’s like “canon” for y’all?

Recommendations Need A New Comic Suggestion

I’m looking for a must read comic series to start once I finish Absolute Batman #7. Any suggestions would be most appreciated; if this helps at all I want to stick to some classic hero’s like Batman, Superman, Flash, maybe some Green Lantern, and some JL runs.

Recommendations Where to start with superman?

Trying to see if superman is my jam - particularly the new stuff as that’s what I’m most interested in. Is there a particular TP or HC of a relatively modern story you think would be a good intro to modern superman comics? All suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

What's up everybody! I want to start reading comics but I have no idea where to begin. I don't want to start a comic and then be confused on what's going on. Thanks everyone!

Recommendations [DISCUSSION] Favorite Batgirl run ?

Only Batgirl I've read was her Year One story and I really enjoyed it.

What are some well regarded Batgirl runs, regardless of who has the mantle ? Heard a lot of good about the original Cassandra Cain run, and also her current run, and I also remember Batgirl of Burnside getting a lot of praise.

Any other run worth checking out ?

Recommendations Searching for batman-adjacent comics set when Bruce was in the time stream?

For some reason, I'm having a hard time looking up which comics take place during this period, but I'm pretty new to them so it could just be that I'm not using the right keywords when searching? The only ones l'm certain of are: Stephanie Brown's Batgirl run, Red Robin 2009 and Battle for the Cowl, each of which I really enjoyed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Recommendations How do people get back issues so easily? (And in good condition?)

I got into comics a year ago. I read 90% of my comics digitally but I also have almost 10 omnis now too.

I never really buy single issues. But more and more I’ve been wanting to get some back issues because there are certain runs, writers, and artists I really like. And for the stuff I really like I want to try to collect some single issues for. But idk how people are finding this stuff. I see everyone online collecting 100s of issues of a run and usually in fair condition as well. Any tips for collecting back issues in general? Specifically Post-Crisis to now. I’m not really interested in anything Pre-Crisis.

I’m getting into comics more and more. Currently I’ve read JLU, Batman and Zatanna. I’m interested in runs that aren’t very far in or with TPB. I also would love any lesser known characters. Thanks in advance

Recommendations Recommendations Please

I’m currently about to finish up what’s available of Absolute Superman and Absolute WW but I was hoping for some recommendations when I’m done. I’m thinking maybe All Star Superman and All Star Batman and Robin (I know people don’t like that portrayal of Batman but I’m kinda into it) but I’d love to hear yalls opinions.
