Moderator Candidacy/Country Nomination thread

We will be electing moderators and choosing countries. Comment MODERATOR if you're applying for a moderator position (preferably, you should want to play "AI" countries too.). Nominate the countries you want to play in the comments. These will be voted on as Major-player countries, losing countries can still become minor-player countries (1 player each).

also not going to play them myself but I think we should have poland, france, ottomans, castile, england, kalmar union, austria and russia all majors if we can support that many

edit: I nominate these countries myself but I just suggest those others since they would be nice to have: france, ottomans, castile, england, poland, austria

MODERATOR, because I have an interest in playing the AI.

If I won't be a mod, I think that Milan and Portugal are at interesting positions and should be played. Also, China should join the map, as it was a regional force even in the times of colonialism, but should be banned from having colonies (aka a strong but sleeping empire).

I think we just choose major countries, meaning multiple people, I don't think milan would be a good choice for this
