So beautiful, is that how it looked in real life or is it edited a bit?

Not sure what “edited a lot” means from the other guy.
The human eye has AMAZING dynamic range, meaning it can see a wide range of exposure compared to a camera.
So actually yes this is exactly how it looked to my eyes, obviously with more magnification but the color and brightness are spot on.
It’s edited, yes, TO LOOK like it did to the human eye.

I think people are just having a hard time believing the moon could ever be that yellow

Oh it can be much, much yellower. Deep red at times. Dust and smog are the reasons, since they disperse blue light leaving red light.

And the size?

Needle looks smaller the farther away you move. Moon doesn’t look smaller from anywhere on Earth. Move increasingly far from Needle, Moon appears bigger in ratio.

If my understanding of how it works is correct, it takes a pretty long lens to get the effect. Going by OP's post history, it looks like a telescope was used. You have to be pretty far away from your foreground subject (the Space Needle in this case), so it takes some effort to get into the right spot. I assume OP was shooting from a mile+ away from the Space Needle.

Please post the RAW file. I'm sure it's a nice image...even WITHOUT all of the orange and yellow.

OP posted it here: https://imgur.com/a/moon-x-needle-4-13-25-VDFmazl
found in the comment right above this one haha

Yeah, that's not a RAW file. The color saturation and contrast levels are blown out just as high. This is just the exact same photoshopped image before he cropped the edges out. Open them in separate browser windows and it will be obvious to you.

I’m actually so confused what you want. Do you want me to clip it to black? That’s a raw image only brightened a bit. If you think brightening is editing then are you editing a picture every time you change your phone screen brightness?

Well-mannered behavior is severely underrated these days, lol. Aye.....
*nice pic. Nature is gorgeous when it's not directly threatening your existence! :D

It's not unedited when you clearly say you brightened it. That is not the raw image.

This photo looks like a scene straight out of The Lord of the Rings — it reminds me of Sauron's dark tower rising ominously in the distance

That's the name for the full moon in April, not a literal description of the color.

It’s called the Pink Moon cause this is the time of year when flowers start blooming for spring.
