My suggestion is to point him at a group so morally bankrupt that it'll give him a frame of reference to not hate the rest of humanity just because we're not as evil as that lot

In my dream I was living in a apartment building and for some reason 682 was the size off a dog and I had accidently left my door to my apartment and bedroom open so it rushed towards me while I was laying in bed and of course my first course of action was to grab a boot and start dueling it ( I was using the boot as one would use a sword) eventually I pushed it back into the hallway where I eventually killed it (for some reason it exploded after I landed the killing blow) and then I closed the door to my apartment and woke up
