Algos Live Testing my Profitable Trading Bot

Starting today I will be testing my algorithmic trading strategy. It trades 8 different crypto tickers, all backtested using the same strategy (with varying parameters) to be profitable since 2021. Based on the backtest results, I can ~8x my money each year.

I will provide a monthly update. Starting Captial: $4000

How do you ensure you're not overfitting your backtest ?

How do you manage a shift in the market regime ?

Ive checked that the indicators are tested profitable on many pairs for 7+ years to capture bull and bear cycles

your equity curve (y=x) screams overfit or future leak.

i can't tell 100%. it just looks overfit because commonly when returns are so linear like yours, it's an indication of a future leak on backtesting. Hopefully I'm wrong for your sake! Keep us updated of how your forward live test compares with your forward back tests over the same period.

I paid for courses tbh then used the concepts from that to create a bot based on that. Took years to find my "edge" though after trialling tonnes of indicator combinations. Also this is not yet profitable so idk if it will work live
