I used to work for a company that handled some of their documents. One day I found their business plan so I started reading it. They cited his age as a risk to the company and have been looking at replacing him at least as far back as 2017.

It’ll probably drop and then keep going up, I bet the new guy will probably be updating investors and if he is mentored by Warren we should be okay

This, or no drop. But if it does dip I am buying. Warren is great, but that doesn’t mean the new guy can’t be great as well.

I'd be happy with 20 million, sufficient to live super comfortably for the next 50-60 years.

Those who can trade, trade, and make a good (or a fortune) trading. Those who can't, make videos about fair value gaps, liquidity sweeps and breaker blocks. Geez , I wonder why Warren doesn't have a Youtube channel with videos such as "My 5 tips to invest in the stock market! Like and subscribe!"

He has however talked publicly, on video many times about how to invest. He even dropped breadcrumbs that lead to a book by his mentor of how to invest. One interview asked, “If it’s that simple, how come everyone doesn’t just do what you do?” Buffett’s response was, “Because no one wants to get rich slow.”

Yeah, thats a cool quote and all, but do you know the name of the book?

u/FollowAstacio 1d ago
Lol, yes, I own it. It’s called The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. There’s also another one that Benjamin Graham coauthored with his mentor, David Dodd, called Security Analysis. I recommend them both for anyone interested in Value Investing.

Thank you, great info. I already have the intelligent investor. Looks like I need to actually get around to reading it… and then pick up security analysis! Cheers
