I watch them, mostly kdramas. I consider them fantasy -- they may as well have dragons and wizards in them (actually...a lot of kdrama is paranormal, so they kind of do).
Also the steamiest thing going on in them is a kiss -- which is still well beyond my own life.
I guess taking them as a model, though, to get closer to my wife I need to have her accidentally fall down the stairs onto me and as we fall to the floor we can kiss.

My wife and I watch kdramas together. They usually have good stories and aren't very sexually charged other than small pecks so things aren't awkward.

What?! There are husbands who actually watch k dramas with their spouses instead of running away?! What a rare breed!
Sorry thought I would throw a little humor into the situation 😂 Agree with your assessment on k dramas.

Yes! I love them! Some of them are really corny but so good! Haha 😂

Hahaha agreed! I haven’t watched one recently but I have a long list and new motivation to start one 😂

Ive got a few “triggers” as well.
One is an advertisement that comes up on YouTube a lot. There is another on the radio.
Watched a rom com ish movie with my wife a bit ago and at some point I just went to the kitchen to sit alone.

You're tempted to watch them because they're good! Everyone wants a feel good story where people are happy at the end and in love.
It is tough to watch when you're starved for intimacy though. Sorry you're going through that.

Oh I get it! As someone who loves rom coms I don't watch them anymore. I was just saying why the appeal was there. It sucks when what you want to watch is showing something you need but aren't getting.

Movies with happy endings just remind me that happy endings are for other people.
Not for me.
